Ahh thanks! he was a real saviour during long covid, we unfortunately had him put down a few weeks back. He was 15 and suddenly became very sick. Lived a very good life and didn't suffer too much at the end. I couldn't have done it without him

My dude, thanks so much for this video (and the others as well). So glad you fell so much better and thanks for sharing. It is so important, that there are some positive videos about this illness out there among all the sad ones. I start making progress as well, but it is still a long way, but clips like this keep me going. After all this is over, we will be stronger and more appreciative of our health and life in general. Wish you all the best.

Ahh my dude, so glad to hear that it helps you. I do feel that all i'm doing to counteract my symptoms is definitely helping me to feel the best mentally i've ever felt. I had to get to a point where my symptoms started to really dissipate before i did though. I guarantee that you can get there too, it's just time and effort. Look forward to hearing about your progress when it happens so please keep me posted.

Cheers Dan! Thanks for this update. I believe I am getting close to recovered as well. It's been 2 years now and I'm back to doing the things I love ( hunting etc ) and no relapses. I have to slow down sometimes and catch my breath, but overall, I'm feeling about 80% most days now. Likely a little deconditioned as well. Thanks for the video and the reminder that we can and do get better. I did cold showers for a while too before, I need to get back into that habit too.

Very happy that you feel much better but sorry dont think that is mindset think where saying that i m better will feel better cause many times where had to do something and didnt even think i can do it or not but in the process of doing it like moving to a place or working on my laptop and crushing hardly same for foods didnt even heard of histamine before but when eating certains i was feeling terrible so think that something helped you maybe cold water and now you tolerate histamine food again Thnks for the videos and hope will get all better

Yeah I do agree in the earlier stages of long covid you can't just get immediately better by thinking it, although I do believe putting yourself in to a headspace of thinking I am going to get better and I can get better is definitely going to help you on your way. Maybe I'm not as sensitive to high histamine foods as I once was, but I still think i could bring on symptoms by still believing I am sensitive to those foods and being afraid whilst eating them. At some point I have to start trusting my body again and I think thought patterns play a huge role in the process of healing, maybe not as much as just suddenly believing I'm better but as a way of guiding myself in that direction. At the moment I'm taking vitamin D and psilocybin microdoses to help keep me motivated and positive. Getting most my needs from a healthy diet. All the best on your journey,

Thanks for the update! Glad that you’re doing better. This has helped confirm my theory that if we’ve made progress, have a crash then we go back to ‘getting better’ quicker than before. Previous healing counts, I guess. I do think we need to learn to trust our bodies again, rather than being hyper vigilant about symptoms/crashes. That’s an important part of returning to health. Although, in the early phases of long Covid rest and avoiding crashes (to give the body a chances to heal is most important). It’s really a phased recovery process, isn’t it. Sounds like a good approach, moving forward but not burning yourself out. Probably a good way to live a more healthier life, for all people!

Yeah there's a line between overdoing it and being too afraid that we all need to tread without straying too far each way. It gets easier to balance as time goes by.

Yeah get what you’re saying. Glad you have the balance

How long have you been doing the wim hof stuff ? And has that had a notable acceleration in your recovery?
@lauracurrie21072 жыл бұрын
Did you ever struggle with breathing issues? I tried wim hoff but it hurts my chest. Im 30 months into this now. I’m going to go and watch your other videos. I’m managing 10mins in a very cold bath each morning.

I would actually take a look through this guys blog rather than my videos as it's what has got me to where I am now. There's 3 links to more of his content in there that you should def look at too. Read through it diligently and keep going back to it. I just have and it's helped me turn another corner today. bencoomber.com/blogs/news/my-recovery-from-long-covid-diet-supplements-testing

And breathing has never really been an issue of mine but I did struggle with inflammation down in to my chest which would get tight and feel strangely sore. That has stuck around in my nasal airways and seems to die down when I keep breathing through my nose, which he talks about in a separate video

I d like to train but there are too many people dying of hearth attack... Often fit and young. I was really fit... They ruined my life...
