Our journey north on the Dempster Highway was stopped short when we ran into some trouble along the way... these Australian explorers were lucky their truck didn't roll into the tundra swamp! It's going to take some ingenuity to extract this Ram 1 ton pickup..
Song 1: Tonight (Instrumental) - Secret Nation
Song 2: Steady - The Light the Heat
Song 3: With Light - Analog Heart

Great post. I started watching LJMJ about 2 years ago and other sites. Ran into yours' and the one thing that always sticks out, is how you get to spend the day with your family. I'm sure there are challenges like anything else, but what amazes me is how kids seem to acclimate/adjust to being in a car for long periods, and camping every day. For me, it would be a childhood dream...bless your lucky stars.

Always a good feeling to pull out another camper. I helped recover a 2wd sprinter one time that decided to bury itself to the axle down a sandy wash. We didn’t have max tracks or a winch but did have some chopped firewood and a tow strap which worked nicely.

What a great teamwork that's how it works to be successful. 👌💪😎 I was traveling by VW - Van alone in the deep winter time across Canada from the West Coast to the East Coast up to Alaska and back to Vancouver 31 year's ago alone. I was helping a car driver with his wife out of the snow up north from Whistler Mountain (BC). I had a great time all the way and now problems with my old 1968 VW - Buli! I love it that easy way to travel. I was before three times traveling across the USA at different parts that was a great experience. Wish you all safe traveling where ever you are! Good luck 🐞👍🍀 Best wishes from Asia 🐘🇨🇭

Hi guys, my brother and I meet up with you at expo west. I have many years of experience in heavy duty recovery, and just from the video points of view, I would say you did an outstanding job. You were dealing with a whole slew of different obstacles, from sucking mud, to off camber angled pull, to very top-heavy vehicle. The other thing you did right was pull him out the way he went in. I have seen many cases where someone would try to pull out forward in that situation, and things went from bad to worse. But the best thing I saw was that you guys took the time to assess the whole situation, and plan out your recovery. Outstanding!

I did the Denpster in Aug/Sept 2015...alone with a tacoma. Used 4x4 once at the Peel river to get on the ferry because of a washout. no problems. Pretty easy drive when I did it. Snow over the Richard Mtns. Nothing scary but a wonderful trip. be prepared

It amazing how you can get acclimated to the weather when you're outside all the time, but the rain isn't fun at all!
