Lipo foams, lymphatic massages, arnica tablets, lots of water, walk every few hours to prevent blood clotting, no heavy lifting for the first month, have Chuck pads for your bed, couch because there’s messy drainage in the beginning

It wasn’t a couple of days. To me it was super painful and it took two weeks to start feeling better. The whole process is very shocking to the body. And lumps are easily formed . You have to be lucky I guess not to have so much asymmetry and irregularities . These things should be addressed in these talks more in detail

Agree with what you said 100 percent. These ladies seem to be clueless of not really trying to give actual helpful and realistic advice.

Yes!! The flank lip after my mommy makeover has been the worst pain. I’m 6 weeks po and still sore in my flanks. And every morning when i get up it feels like pulling my skin apart from being glued or something. Owwww

I wish it was this easy. I'm 10 months post op and have lumpy hard scar tissue in my left knee where the cannula was inserted and a dent in that area. My surgeon just keeps telling me that it will improve in time and to keep massaging it. My 12 month pist op is in late February. I keep doing and have done everything he's asked me to. I see minimal improvement. Trying to give him the benefit of the Doubt. Hoping this improves more by then. I don't know if he will give me any options on how to improve this result. 😢 I'm very lean, I just had some exercise and diet resistant fat in my knees and inner thighs. I don't think fat grafting is a great option for me. 😢

Use Scar away sheets. It’s works and breaks up the scar tissue and lumps

Hi , for how long should the foams and boards use?

Everyone is different. I think they are useful for the first few months if the patient is comfortable.

Hi, I had lipo with FaceTite 17 days and I still have painful visible swelling. I’m having a hard time chewing. Is this normal?

This was a waste of my time watching! One of the docs says the only thing you have to do (what they tell patients) is to wear a compression garment and then she talks about the "comfort" of them. No mention of walking for bits of time for the body to better recover, in addition to increase of protein, staying hydrated, various options for dealing with pain, burning sensations, itching, etc, not lifting more than 10lbs for at least 4-6 weeks, etc., etc. They do discuss eventually lymphatic massage. Wearing a compression garment for me has not been fun at all - they make it sound like a breeze! And since with lipo, it takes a lot of time and patience to see favorable results, it's a much more complex topic than they allude to. All in all, I would not want either of these ladies doing any procedures on me!

I am having trouble finding a compression garment for my thighs and tummy that doesn’t irritate my drains which are in my hip area. Any suggestions?

A Garment with an opening in the groin makes it easier to pull a drain through in the earliest days. Hope you are recovering well! - L & L
