The algorithm only really needs a good 10 seconds of it even being in the background to catch it let alone basically the entire video being entirely of the song. I’m going to assume her job payed really really well before she quit and probably has enough to last her given that her expenses are fairly minor compared to what most (food, rent, water and electricity (assuming those aren’t covered by her apartment) phone) we can also assume she has at least some level of self control and doesn’t blow all the money on loot boxes.

Doubtful, the manga was discontinued. In fact, the manga had been on hiatus TWO YEARS BEFORE THE ANIME AIRED. I am honestly rather shocked they even bothered animating one season. But yes, no content to animate is the answer. That's also why a lot of the side stories went nowhere.
