Strung Out has been my all time favorite band for the past 20 years. I know all about their history and Chris' struggle with addiction. I can't believe I'm seeing this video for the first time 2 years after its been released. How did I miss this? Good for you boys on staying sober all these years and thank you Chris for continuing to make rad music that I'll always love! ❤

Chris definitely looks better, I remember seeing him in 2015, 60-80 pounds overweight shaking his belly around on stage like it was nothing... and then look at him now, facing his demons like a boss, fixed his shit. Good to have him back

Good ol TO huh Chris! lol Hey Chris you are too modest my brother! There were bigger moments with Crucifer than the quad at lunch at TOHS .. What about opening for Testament in Santa Barbara at the Emerald I think it was called or Emerald City maybe Whatever that small bar/club was called out in SB! Remember you had no singer for that show? lol You even i think called out to the audience hey if anyone knows the lyrics and wants to sing these next few songs (cause they were all covers left if im remembering correctly) but no one step up so you guys basically opened up for Testament as a 3 man instrumental metal band but i was rockin out to it regardless! But where you ultimately hit your peek prior to Strung Out were the shows you would put on at our house man haha The Bernhardt house of Rock lol Mosh pits in the bedroom or front lawn to the solo artist Chris Aiken! haha We knew you had a gift cause i was always mesmerized by your guitar skills every time youd come over and bless us with it! So making Strung Out shocked the fuck out of me not because you were someone I knew thats in a real band now but I was fucking shocked because someone I knew had just joined one of my all time favorite bands that I discovered the same way as Scummy from Krusty Demons of Dirt 1 Ashes! Still a song anyone can put on if you need to get pumped up hyped up for something! Gearing up in parking lot at Piru track or driving to a fishing spot i want to burn it to the ground ashes to ashes dust to dust every time to get that hyped motivation! Chris I am so proud of you making it out alive and sober! I am a recovering opiate/heroin addict myself sober from dope since april 16th 2016 and it feels great to be on the other side of that nightmare!

Dirt bike rider myself from pearblossom littlerock. Lived in Simi and oaks. Strung out is the best to do it. Pulley was also incredible. Ten foot pole, simi punck is an absolute staple. Love simi punck!

sobriety made my life worse. Sure I’m healthy. I stopped having fun the day I had to stop. It’s been 3 years. I think drugs are required for certain minds.

Drugs are not “ required” for anyone. Drugs are a choice. Drugs, for those that are addicts, are a progressive condition. Sure, they may work for awhile, but at some point they stop working, again if you are an addict. Sounds like you’ve got a living problem, which is a potential sign of an addict. If drugs are your solution, that sounds really unhealthy!
