This inovative unit is revolutionary to the RV industry. In 2018, I purchase a 2014 Keystone 299ret TT for full-time living. The RV dealer felt the Coleman Mach 15 was not cooling properly. He installed a brand new 15k Mach-15 ducted unit. It is now 6 years old and still performs as new. It's a little loud but on a super hot California summer day, it does what it is supposed to do so, it's not a bad trade off. When it finally does die, I will install the RecPro 15k ducted heat-pump model. Looking forward to a quieter experience.

I just bought the 3800 and the 3501, installing them this weekend. I am replacing the Dometic units that came in my Living Lite travel trailer toy hauler. I like to watch how-to-video's from the company, so I can see if there is any tips or tricks to the install. But, RecPro does not have any that I can find. I wished they would make some KZbin videos for an install of these units. I will update later on how it went and how the units are doing.

I have the Houghton 15K heat pump. There are no videos on how to get the cover off and do a maintenance on it like cleaning all the coils, etc. It would be great if you made one!

We just bought the 13.5K with remote non-ducted. We're swapping our 3 yr old Mach 3 Coleman out for this one when we have a FlexArmor roof installed....they take off the AC unit anyhow and said they could swap it out for us. Both appear to be the same size and weight from measurements we took. We are looking forward to a much quieter unit that we can control without getting out of bed. We have a small 25' Class C motorhome...I believe this will work out nicely.

I bought the 115vac 9600Btu from RecPro shipping was excellent and the unit was excellent. Installed on my 2007 G2500 Chevy Express Van. I built to square boxes per the instructions one for inside and one for the outside out of 1 x 3 popular. If I ever do it again. I will use three box frames 2 inside and 1 outside. Additionally the outside would Kreg joint to a built up platform rectangle an additional 32” long by the width of the upper box frame, so as to cover or distribute the weight over to interior frame supports. Raychem 12 gauge environmental splices are required (Aviation Grade) to terminate the Ac lines to a power cord as well. This is the only unit I would ever consider for the America’s southern and south western climates. It is worth the money and time. Don’t hem an haw this is what you need.

Thinking real hard on the 2000watt jackery as a power source. I have the 1000 watt and I use it all the time. The 2000 unit May handle this air conditioner, remains to be seen.

Hello John I have a 2011 Chevy express cutaway that previously had a carrier ac unit that is not working I'm thinking of replacing it with one of these units so I found it interesting to see a fellow Chevy owner here. Did you happen to replace an ac unit with this one? If so how did it go? I'm a 28 year old female without any experience and I am converting this bus all on my own and this is one part I'm trying to figure out currently so any info you have would be greatly appreciated especially if you replaced a unit with a recpro model. Thank you.

Are these units running variable speed compressors and fans such as a typical mini split system does with a high seer value? Being as any mentions of this stuff is omitted makes a unit like this feel like a slight and late improvement of the same old RV air conditioner.

How do you fix E1 error code on this unit? Do you have a video on it that walks you through troubleshooting this? My AC went out while camping with my pregnant wife and kids and now we’re stuck in 80+* degrees in the heat with no A/C. Unit is only 11 months old and has only been used 5 times. Need help ASAP

Is there a 12v option?

Hi John, our current selection of AC's either have an input voltage of 48V or 115V.

Hi. The low profile 13.5k looks like it should be my next AC. But I need to verify dimensions to see it will fit where my current AC is. I found overall dimension on the website, which look good, but I need a diagram or dimension between the front of the 14" hole to the front of the AC3400, ideally both to the front at the base, and to the front bulge of the plastic housing a bit further up. Can anyone help with that? I'm ready to buy. Thanks
