I couldn’t have asked for any other IJN carrier video, thanks for the short and simple history too and not a multiple hour long video. Straight to the point just the way I like it, excellent work
Incredible work recreating all 25 Japanese carriers! It's amazing to see such detailed craftsmanship bringing history to life.

I'm really loving this channel and all the quality models that are utilized, thanks for adding english subtitles for us english speakers, keep up the good work! :)
This is an amazing work. Congratulations ! I read a lot about the IJN and its Samurai spirit and the intelligent strategy of Admiral Yamamoto up to being murdered in the air over the Solomon Islands. On the other side, you fought on the wrong side in WWII. As a Portuguese and a European, I am enthusiastic that Japan now belongs to the collective West. I am also aware that the first modern weapons acquired by Japan were the firearms introduced by the Portuguese in Tanegashima in 1543. The city has an annual festival to celebrate this event.
The carrier models are absolutely beautiful; I may not be an expert in Japanese ship design, but they certainly feel true to the history books. The English subtitle meanings are very unambiguous/unclear in a lot of sections, but I definitely appreciate your translation work. I know how difficult translating historical and/or technical writing is. Good work mate. It's absolutely fascinating hearing how the American and Japanese names for battles differ - for example, "Battle of the Eastern Solomons" (USA) vs "Second Battle of the Solomon Islands".
This is a fantastic video. It was great to see such high quality recreations of the entire IJN carrier fleet. The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force has named helicopter carrier DDH-184 "Kaga", which I think is awesome.
Great videos. Must have been an olympic undertaking to make these videos. Sadly, I do not speak Japanese. Greetings from Germany.

A very interesting and informative video! I don't usually watch a KZbin video that is this long. You have served the memories of these proud Imperial Japanese Navy vessels very honorably! Domo Arigato!

A nice visualization which gave me a new visual perspective. An important addition to my understanding from reading history books (ignoring Hollywood movies). As an engineer I appreciate the difficult task presented to the shipyards.
Thank you for an excellent video - the best i have ever seen on the subject. I have always been interested in the aircraft carriers of the IJN. A few years ago I went to the Museum of Maritime Science in Tokyo to see the Kawanishi H8K “Emily” flying boat. Unfortunately it had been moved to Kanoya. However the museum where it had been had a complete collection of IJN aircraft carriers in 1/700 scale which I enjoyed looking at. I have models of the Taiho, Shinano and Akiitsu Maru to complete. Greetings from Australia. (Our family loves visiting Japan and our daughter speaks Japanese). Cheers
I love seeing how resourceful and well planned the Japanese! Once we were enemies of Japan yes the ANZACS are now very close friends with Japan, Xox Japan from Australia and New Zealand. I love Japans Ship designs! I love Japan from NZ and Australia!
Good work. I am a BIG fan of the old SSI computer game "Carrier Strike", so I have some familiarity with the main Japanese fleet carriers. Was very enjoyable to watch this.

A dear old friend of mine was a navy brat, brilliant artist, and fascinated by the Japanese WWII navy. He made both store bought and made custom models of many of their ships. (His brother made American ships so they could stage battles.) He died a couple of years ago but he would have loved this.

@@OzIan1983 Jealous ugly chinese boy 🤣 Chinese men failed to protect their women & children from invaders. Chinese soldiers ran away pissing their pants when they saw the Japanese. Weak chinese cowards like to talk tough, but everyone knows "Made in China" is cheap garbage 🤣
The logic of building carriers in WW2 is very different among each countries, the American wish to build an hammer that can smack enemy at once, the Japanese wish to build an hammer that have the most distance in advancing, while the Brits wish to build an hardest hammer
