I don't understand Japanese, so I can't get the full experience out of this video, but it was an amazing video that taught me more than I knew about Ryujo

I am so glad I found you channel, so much detail I have not seen else where.
It was so worth to watch this long video and I feel so good from learning a lot about this small carrier Ryujyo that I never heard of it for many years.

I love your videos, even with Subtitles. Kepp up the good work
As an American who had relatives in the U.S navy that fought in the war, I can tell you that they had nothing but respect for the I.J.N. War is terrible and i wish it never happened.. Young brave men fought and died on both sides.
Hola a todos. Excelentes videos. Un canal fantástico. Muy buenas entregas : Instructivas , interesantes y entretenidas. Felicitaciones. He aprendido mucho. Gracias , maestra. Un abrazo afectuoso. Saludos desde Chile , Sudamérica.
For the future english dudes who wanna know how it compares to other carriers, its basically a juiced up independence class(same general weight), sacrificing half the crew for unparalleled aircraft count(armaments are similar in terms of firepower), when i mean by unparalleled i really mean it. The only guys that would beat this class would be fully fledged fleet carriers.
even if I know only a few words in Japanese this video is very useful on the volution of Japanese aircraft carriers Sooho Zuiho Sooryu and others. Arigato surimasta!
Ryujo strike on Guadalcanal in April 1942 was everything else but success. Reports were extremely exaggerated. Sources on both sides confirm that. Famous captain Hara especially pointed out that "Aircraft operations of Ryujo in given day were inadequate" He pointed it out in direct message to his fellow officer on board of Ryujo. It was a minute before disaster.
