This video speaks to me so much right now! I appreciate the gentle reminder to step away from the exactness of a Pinterest outfit and instead focus on what it is that drew us to it. I'm going through this right now as colder weather came faster than expected, and I'm trying to make good choices at the thrift store. I also appreciate your comments on being realistic about influencers and their wardrobes/lifestyles. I'll keep in mind your statement on buying clothes that work harder for the rest of us. What a great video again Alanna! In my fantasy you are my adopted daughter, haha! That's because i'm almost twice your age,! I think you nailed these outfits really good to fit your personal style, which you don't have to search for because you already found it. And it is great! Of course i try to watch videos for my age, but they are so so boring. No, i'm not wearing belt like mini skirts, and my clothing is really cassic- ish, but stil. Excuse me making mistakes but i,m dutch, so not a native english speaker. Oh, i found out Anouk Yve is a dutch influencer, i like her style, but not as much as your style! And I feel like most of these outfits were pretty closely aligned to how I would naturally pair these clothes too - I'll have to do another video showing *inspired by* but it turns out differently because I only borrow elements or colours or something. I feel like theres so much to unpack with pinterest inspiration 🌼
