My desktop back in 2016 was an i5-4460, 12 gb ddr3, 1 tb hdd, intel hd 4600, on windows 10. It was a great computer when I used it. It was the family pc at the time, so my siblings and my parents would use it too.

As for what I had back in 2016, I don't remember man... must've been some old Lenovo thing. That was replaced by a Toshiba laptop that I 'borrowed' from my dad's workplace... that I destroyed with vomit in 2018. Since 2019 my computer's been the rather outdated Anni PF7 Gamer Ultimate. Mostly 2017 specs in there, you've got an i5-7400, GTX 1050, 16 gigs of RAM, two drives (a 230 gb hdd + 1 tb ssd), all on a messy edition of Windows 10 that I haven't updated since 2020 because system updates scare me to my core.

you can also emulate a celeron with pcem / qemu would give you the feel of a celeron

i back then had a pc with an intel i3-3300f, 10 GB of ram (before it was 8 GB RAM), around 500 gb SSD, windows 7 windows 10 windows 11 (just me reinstalling whatever os from these), and Integrated graphics from 2015-2024, 2024-02-08 is when i got a better pc (16 gb ram, nvidia rtx 3050 (the 8gb variant btw), intel i5-11400f, windows 11, and 1 tb NVME)

You can't set webp as a wallpaper in Windows. KDE desktop environment has no issues with that.

My first pc is a Dell Inspiron 1318 it’s has 2gb ram like my office pc use Celeron run Windows 11, but now it’s gone, so i only use a Celeron Pc and I’ll upgrade to i7 2600 and 16gb ram

The i7-2600 is over 10 years old and still using DDR3 RAM. We're at i7-14000 series and DDR5 RAM now. A (modern) Celeron is probably as fast. You should really upgrade to a more modern i7 with DDR4 or DDR5. Alternatively, an i5 or Ryzen system would work. Just stick to 12000 / 12th gen or below if you go Intel right now. If you want Windows 11, go Intel 8th Gen, Ryzen 2000, or newer.

@@Windows1123h2pro If you need a laptop, that's a decent pick. AMD Ryzen computers are also a decent pick. But if you don't need the computer to be portable, a desktop will be faster at the same price. Just avoid HP computers either route, HP tends to be subpar quality.

An i7 2600k is still a lot faster then the G6900T but i agree. That Lenovo LOQ 2024 is a much better option!

@@TheWindowsHero That's probably down to the two extra cores and more L3 cache over the G6900T. :) It's a more fair comparison with a quad-core. I do have my gripe with the VRAM limits on a 3050 (esp with it being a mobile chip), but I won't say it's a bad card.
