Fact: “more than two teaspoons of nutmeg can kill you” Brittany: “we’re gonna eyeball it”
@AlexanderJasperJay2 жыл бұрын
Meh, I eyeball nutmeg all the time when going into a recipe as long as you aren’t eating two teaspoons of undiluted nutmeg or eating the entire recipe in quick succession you’ll be fine. Yes 2 teaspoons can cause nutmeg toxicity (a very shitty high) and it will give you a nasty hangover but only one person ever has officially died from nutmeg overdose and it was an 8 year old kid. Nutmeg has been a popular food and still popular but less so drug for centuries and while I don’t recommend anyone use it as a drug (mostly because it sucks) people don’t really need to walk on eggshells when cooking or baking with it. For most a “toxic” dose of alcohol can be just 3-4 drinks but most can drink more before they’re actually in trouble.
@starfire42042 жыл бұрын

Lactose is the sugar in milk, lactase (the enzyme) breaks it down into galactose and glucose, which is the step lactose intolerant people cannot do on their own. A good brand of "lactose free" milk will have all the lactose fully broken down. (Which is why it also usually tastes sweeter as galactose and glucose are sweeter than lactose). You probably just got a bad brand! Atleast here in germany lactose free milk has to have the lactose fully broken down. Idk about american laws.

As someone who has given a TEDx talk, here's the difference: TEDx usually isn't the full name, the x implies that the TED event is in partner with something else, commonly colleges. So, for example, TEDx Carnegie or TEDx Harvard. As such, the majority of speakers for TEDx events are affiliated with/go to the partner (i.e. college students or maybe even professors employed there). being a proud citizen of broski nation means liking the video before it starts and watching all the ads for at least 30 seconds even though youtube's new policy means they can run ads on videos without paying creators so it's never for sure but you do it anyway -texan broski nationer

I got an ad right at the chocolate milk break so I let the whole ad play while I went and got my own (plant based) chocolate milk. Coin for Brittany, chocolate milk for both of us. With that timing, everyone's a winner.

here in N.Ireland most of our tourism is about Belfast being where the Titanic was built... they should show this in the official museum

thank you for doing a silly food video at the beginning of the year. I as someone with an ED its hard seeingall these people post all these healthy diet videos and its triggering, this was fun

i feel like the editing in your videos is unappreciated bc it makes me laugh so effin hard like stanley is so funny and that on top of brittany’s sense of humor and chaos is such a perfect combination
