I think you did great! It's funny I didn't notice how grey, heavy and "dead" it can look under artificial lights because once you stepped into the sunlight it brought it to life and it ended up looking very similar to the picture!

@@TashPalmer right.. it's okay for people to have great skin, but I hate it when you see pics of 'influencers' in less flattering light or settings than they usually upload in and there's all of this visible texture etc. that they typically hide with lighting + filters.. like I get not wanting people to see your flaws but you'll put on the same amount of product as some of these influencers and look crusty af while they look flawless and it's like HOW lol it feels so fake at this point

I love that you are experimenting and trying things. That lower lash line looks really cool in a kinda edgy but not too much way. I like it. I do think the crease just needed to be blended and softened a little to really match the look, but overall really close! The outdoor light really made a difference. So much fun to play with makeup!

60s cut creases (what they were called before the term cut crease came to mean something else) are tough to neatly accomplish and are very harsh to wear. I think you really nailed it! It’s just hard to look at yourself when nothing about the makeup is what you’re used to and feel okay about it. For the record, I think it’s a bit harsh on her too, because she is so blond and fair. On you it feels a little more balanced!
