I was in company 222, graduated few months after this batch. I visited San Diego last week, and the USS recruit, and the memories almost made me cry. The Navy forever changed my life. I am very thankful!

Great video. I was in Company 193 that graduated about 4 weeks after this. Myself and a couple of guys from our company were in the audience watching this ceremony as our Company Commander thought we needed a bit of 'motivation'. Ended up doing 10 years in the Navy Seabees.

I was in Chief Dickson's Company Commander class. We were the honor graduates. I was on the drop sheet with him but days before we would have pick up our company I was notified of selected for commission as a Chief Warrant Officer and the CO made me the legal officer of the command.

I graduated from RTC, San Diego in December of 1984 and was in the drill company for that cycle. Was crack rifle RCPO and on this video, there wasn’t a drill company listed as graduating on this day…did something happen? 50 state flag team is there, band is there as is the crack rifle squad…interesting. 🤔🫡
