I believe Anthony provided some great advice within the limited time frame given. I have focused and excelled on the majority of the "core skills" Anthony identifies, and feel that is what has placed me much further in my career over many of my classmates, who were primarily focused on achieving the highest grade/technical detail. I now regret not taking a public speaking class, as I am constantly traveling to sister plants to present out on material to plant managers, directors, etc.

It's not a given that candidates have the technical skills. Agreed about the presentation skills.
