To all Canon F-789SGA users, complex mode works slightly differently but thanks to this lecture i figured it out if the resultant is in QI and QII the angle will be shown in a positive counterclockwise direction starting from the positive x-axis if the resultant is in QIII and QIV the angle will be shown in a negative clockwise direction also starting from the positive x-axis

Hello professor McLogan, I had a question... How do I find the exact value of the rectangular coordinates, if either the x or y value of the polar form is not on the unit circle? For example (4, -9pi/5) I know that’s in quadrant 1 by converting from radians to degrees, but I don’t get how to find the value of x or y in rectangular form because -9pi/5 isn’t on the unit circle

I’m just confused this time it’s in degree mode but previous problem we had to be it in radian mode in order to convert to polar

the degree was located on the Q4,so I guess 360-30degree = 330 could also be possible answer if we start the count from 0 axis to 360 counter clockwise,but if we start from the Q3 to Q4 we get the 150,180-30 degree=150degree

I don't know why teachers get upset when students don't understand things. not everyone learns at the same rate or retains information as easily. if teachers stopped taking things so personally kids would be able to learn a lot more easily. berating them right before teaching them is going to accomplish nothing. the kids will be focused on how you think they are not trying, they won't be focused on the math.
