I’ve been accumulating XRP for 3-4 years, I put 58% of my XRP into the AMM pool and in a short span of 4-5 weeks, I’ve made 48% of what it took me 3-4 years to accumulate ( not financial advice 😂)

@@DAMIENloh1970 my question is where do you find and see what you have earn for putting it into the AMM. Only thing it tells you is that what you put into the pool is what percentage you’ll earn from it. Example like on other decentralized when staking at least it tell you what you the total of what you will earn or what you accumulate for the day/weeks. Here on AMM it doesn’t show that, or what you earns doesn’t even go to your Xaman wallet. I just wanted to know how much I’m making, if it just hope on the price XRP going up to make my money then i feel like it isn’t even worth putting my Xrp into AMM.

There will be greater options moving forward, for now hold and sit on it. When the new financial system is introduced xrp will be re valued. If you contribute to a liquidity pool right now you crypto is valued in a dollar value contribution if xrp goes up you lose all capitol gains because your coins have been sent for liquidity. In that case you would get the transfer fee's on top of the dollar value invested. That is the problem.

The problem with AMM is that it simply delays the fruit of speculation. WHEN do I withdraw? You don’t know because of the temporary loss of profit. It just kicks the can down the road.

Magnetic pays out its rewards every day at around 11 eastern. You can monitor your amounts to see what your making. You only experience if the price of the asset drops below the price of what you entered at. If your going to suffer loss just wait till the price comes back up. No as long as you don't sell principle, the principle is not taxable However the yeld (profit) made is taxable You've never sold the principle, just derived interest from it The interest is taxable The principle is not, unless you sell it

Any time one token is swapped for another it’s a taxable event. Simply depositing to a liquidity pool is not a taxable event but emissions and earnings are taxable

(see my other comment in his comments for more detailed). The APR's are very low for this AMM. 3.87% APR is the highest token pair (with some coin I've never heard of and don't care to hold). That's very low compared to other chains. USDC/XRP pair is only 0.24% APR. Not worth it to me personally unless rewards go up

You aren't looking at the Magnetic dex, it has an apy of 80% currently, and others that are 100 to 140%. I will give everybody a little advice start with a small amount till you are comfortable. But don't expect a bunch of gains off of 50 or 100 bucks. It's still way better than a bank, the great thing about xrpl dex is it doesn't have smart contracts which can be exploitable. Like alot of other dexs.

So, XPmarket just has very low APR's compared to other XRPL amm sites I guess? Someone should tell @Rector94 you can get much higher APR with your mag/xrp pair outside of xpmarket it looks like.

So nothing is happening in the AMM. Is this because there is not much activity so far on the AMM?? Taking some profits, if there are any, is to witdraw from the pool. Is that correct? That's the fundamental question. You are offering two tokens on your stall to an open market, let's say XRP and USD,. On a bullrun, people will run to your stall and snap up all your XRP and you'll be left with 100% USD. On the other end, let's say the SEC manage to scupper Ripple, people will flock to your stall and dump all their XRP leaving you fully bought in a crashing market. I'd say, make sure you are paired in tokens you like owning anyway.
