For whom they are solving these maths problem? - it’s like I pay money to buy Pizza, here am solving the puzzle but why? Why puzzle? 4. Creator of puzzle will get what? 5. Is there any intrinsic value attached to crypto currency? or it’s all notional? - we still need fiat currency to buy bitcoins right? like to buy gold you need fiat money - same fiat money is used to buy bitcoins right? then what’s the difference here? it’s like buying a property or gold, now we have digital money, but I cannot buy bitcoins without fiat money.

I value your perspective and content.Bitcoin is on its way to breaking records, getting closer to hitting new high prices, showing that it's gaining more value and could go even higher than we've seen before. This could mean great things for people looking to invest, suggesting now might be a good time to get involved before it jumps even higher. It's an exciting moment that could change the game in general...managed to grow a nest egg of around 7.2Biitcoin to a decent 26.4Biitcoin. It’s more like this: a Bitcoin is created when a computer GUESSES the correct “password.” There’s no mathematical way to figure out the password so you simply have to guess over and over again. Who creates the password? An algorithm called a Hash Function creates the password. Think of it like a sausage maker. You put some chunks of meat (aka data) into one end and a uniformly shaped sausage comes out the other (this is the password or the hash). The idea of hashing was born out of the science of cryptography - hence the term “cryptocurrency” It’s very easy to turn data into a hash using an algorithm, but it’s currently impossible to mathematically work the problem backwards. For example, it’s very easy to calculate 3*4*1000 = 12000, but if I just give you the number 12000 and ask you to figure out how I got to that number, there is no mathematical formula for solving that problem. Therefore it’s impossible to mathematically calculate. HOWEVER, it’s totally possible to guess the right answer. Doesn’t mean it’ll be easy though. Here’s a demonstration: 284000. How did I get this number? 284*1000? 2839998 + 1? 568000 / 2?? Nope. Keep guessing. You get the idea :) The computers that can make the most guesses per second have the highest chance of guessing the password and winning the reward for that round.

I get confused at certain points. First, all the original btc, do miners “mine them” from some original stack and then add those to the BC and get btc for their efforts? Then, what is the difference or relationships between nodes or validators and a miner when creating a block? Lastly, why would you hold a full node and not be a miner if being a node doesn’t pay?

I'm loving these explanations. The one thing I take issue with is the notion that banks have all the authority to do what they want with your money. Not true where there is a stable and reliable legal system to hold them accountable. In other words, if they won't give me my money, I can sue them to make them. He's explaining a difficult concept in 16 minutes. This requires huge simplifications, of which that was one. But he is right in that the bank is a trusted third party and is utterly corruptable as those tasked with keeping it in check are corruptable. Bitcoin relies on math, not people. Also your bank can freeze your account. If you have your keys, nobody can stop you moving your bitcoin.

@jDelicious___2 жыл бұрын
it does not work like that. Say you have 100 hashes or assume for this example 100 numbers from 1-100. A range is set which is updated regularly by all of miners in the world (decentralized) and say the current range is 51-60. So what all miners do is try and guess a hash value between 51-60. If they do get it in range they have guessed it correctly and they win or else the trial and error continues. it might sound very simple right now but just imagine the over all range of trillions of hashes and an acceptable range of a billion hashes. That's where the guessing part comes in play and why it is so difficult.

The creation of bitcoins to pay the blockchain miner is just another form of inflation that causes devaluation of the basic bitcoin since no value is being created. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. Show me a man with no investment and I'll tell you how long it takes to go bankrupt. Investing builds a safe haven for the future. With the right investment choice that has at least 2% minimum risk and with expert advice, profit and interest are 100% guaranteed.

what happens if the bitcoin run out of its 21 million BTC cap. Would the blockchain stop updating the ledger and freeze all transactions in the network? Who exactly generates this equation for the miners to solve? Where is it coming from? Does it also runs out? and How exactly it is generated?

Also, so much for "decentralization". Some guy created a program that creates more and more bit coins as more and more users participate. Just like real money, the value of individual bit coins are affected by how many or how little there are in circulation. So basically, one guy can control the value and quantity available. That doesn't sound like decentralization to me.

The problem for me is this: In all the videos I've seen for beginners, this being no exception, what is explained is the overall *concept* of Bitcoin - how it is decentralised etc. I have no trouble understanding the benefits - the concept. I have trouble understanding how to actually interact with Bitcoin online...at its simplest, which buttons to press and in what order!! - "This is what you DO"!!

@@99Bitcoins I know this video is older, but Iv never even questioned in my own head what is Bitcoin es I heard it and just thought people placed gold in like a safety deposit box account and could buy things spending an amount that however much gold they had came to! Lol well I'm a stay home mom homeschooling my two youngest daughter 6 my son has autism and about to be 10 and I need to do better for their futures sake. So is Bit mining still big thing going on or any other coins? And are any other coins jobs that would be better for person not having a lot to invest in starting up?
@99Bitcoins2 жыл бұрын
Hey @justinsupersoniczeanimator6662, How's it going? Today, it's not that profitable to mine bitcoins at home. You can read this to see why: 99bitcoins.com/bitcoin-mining-profitable-beginners-explanation/. The gear you'll need is very expensive, and you probably won't be getting a good return on your investment due to high electricity costs. I am not sure if there are still coins out there you can mine profitably. However, if you think you can still set up a profitable mining operation at home here a guide on how to do so: 99bitcoins.com/how-mine-bitcoins-home/ Hope this helps!
