Recycle Rush: Roaring Rapid Rail Autocar - Mid Valley Disposal 282

Way back, I remember coming home from Kindergarten and seeing one of City of Fresno’s brand new LNG Autocar Xpeditor Rapid Rail on my street. Fast forward 16 years and City of Fresno has gotten rid of all of the now old, beaten and abused Xpeditors. Some have been parted out, and others have been sold to local haulers. Seen here is one of the 4 (?) Ex City of Fresno trucks that operate out of their Whitesbridge yard doing post Christmas recycle in Sanger. While Waste Management Fresno is known for having all kinds of carts in all kinds of colors, Sanger is known for having many models of Toters as you can see in the video. After all of MVDs acquisitions, it left them with all kinds of Toter carts from various companies. always a pleasure watching older rapid rails, particularly ones so well restored as this truck. first time I've seen a RR driver use the hydraulic hopper cover to press down material too

Wow that’s a dinosaur find right there my friend, absolutely love the paint scheme and how well this truck is maintain. We used to have one with the original Republic brown that we think got scrapped. Keep up the good work!

WOW! Incredible find, I grew up on these trucks only on Volvo cabs. Nice to see these still running. Is this a main truck? Nice to see a few lid flips too
