We used to go to newton abbott tip a lot when things were really cheap. They did a great trade there. Then they decided to have a shakeup all the prices shot up and it became more like antique prices. One by one all the old staff left and trade fell off. Spoke to a guy recently who told me last week they only sold 8 items. They are now looking to close the shop down altogether. What really annoys me is the fact that the stuff that could have been sold is likely to end up in landfill. So much for saving the planet. Where is the sense?!

Ivybridge tip shop has banged its prices up post lockdown too. And they don’t negotiate anymore. I expect the same will happen.

Do you not check if the discs scratched. As I found at our local recycling shop they mostly scratched. Good thing they sell all there games for £1 each.

Never seen a tip shop or reuse shop in Scotland. Don't even know if any exist locally. Chris I grudge paying 1 pound for a wii game as there is little to no profit in them, never mind 2 pounds. You do get the odd exception with certain games. Xbox kinect bundles do well and you should get a fair bit for them but at £2 per game it seems steep. Did you check the discs before buying? Couldn't tell in the video.

BOOK OF SPELLS - is worthless , its the movement controller that's worth the money , will sell it for the same but quicker if you just sell the controller :-)
