This is the 1st Soviet mission (Short Fuse) of the fan made Campaign by Concolor1, Re-Engagements. The Crazy Ivan is a Key unit to bring down the appropriate structures. Always scout with your other forces first and beware of that Crate that covers the map!

I read AoE damage as Age of Empires damage and was about to ask questions 😂 Nicely done, was looking forward to the Soviet ones. I get the frustration with this one though as I know how much you hate Ivans. For what it’s worth, I don’t really understand why the unit was critical? Is it not possible to force fire on the warehouses?

I like these no building missions when you can figure out the tactics if you pay attention. But not really when it depends on multiple retries and you preemptively knowing where the enemies will be. Also these are way more tense without Boris or Tanya. May I suggest installing the mod that plays the original soundtrack too in Yuri's Revenge? YR music is good, but it has very few tracks, and becomes really repetitive. And it's subjective, but I like the base RA2 ost more :) ps: it could make Crazy Ivan more useful if he had some type of attack too, maybe throwing grenades, or some anti-armor bombs? What do you think?

Good point about the music, agree on all counts. I don’t know if it’s possible to have multiple mods at once though? Pretty sure this campaign is a mod in itself.

The set music tracks can be set with triggers. Still plays the same tracks, just in the order the writer wants.

@@lauraallard8999 found a mod that lets you also play the RA2 music in YR, it just adds an extra file into the game folder.I doubt it conflicts with other mods, but that would have to be tried first

@@vodkavecz ah, in that case it might be possible to do then. I have no way of trying any of this on my machine as it won’t run RA2 (some people can safely run it on Windows 10, sadly I’m not one of them). The RA2 main game OST is better, I think. There are more tracks in the main game, as you said, but also some tracks in YR aren’t really right in my view. Trance L Vania, for example, only really fits in the last Soviet mission.

@@lauraallard8999 personally I love the quieter, more tense music in RA2 for commando missions like this one too. Like 200 Meters, Eagle Hunters or Tension.

The guards always follow the route, use "scrap" buildings/items on the route to put a bomb , you should calculate the time of explosion and boom, it is like put a explosive mine..

Yeah this mission was soooo clunky to finish. Not really fun to play at all given the units you have. Especially when you get into situations like in 22:20. THIS IS WHY FLAK TROOPERS ARE BULLIED IN TIER LISTS!

Hey.. Check with you, what resolution are you playing in and on what OS? Origin or Retail CD? I've a problem, my tooltips doesn't seem to show when I play. From your video, the tooltips seem to be working properly.. any idea?

Hey, I've been using both and didn't have a problem. I suggest installing the CnC net launcher which fixes several stuff.

Sounds like you didn’t approach the boat when it was docked. You just captured the chronosphere and moved it. The boat stays put as it’s crew hasn’t been released.
