This secret mission in fact uses the same map as the original EU 06 mission. It's just that in this mission, the battlefield is restricted to the lower half of the map while the upper half is reserved for the original mission. So, depending on whether the beacon is destroyed or not in the previous mission, the mission loads either upper or lower half of the map. In some very special scenarios, if you make the hornets from carriers leave the upper boundary of the battlefield, they could attract the hostile destroyers from the original mission 6 into the battlefield from 'the outside"...

While I can't completely confirm because I haven't looked at it, the game has a feature called Variables, which can be either restricted to the mission itself currently playing or be carried over in-between missions. These Globals were used in TibSun, in one of the Nod missions, to determine if the troops spawn at the bottom of the map or the top, depending on whether or not a secondary mission that allows an approach from the south was finished. Of course, in that instance it was *very* obvious you were still playing the exact same mission, just from a different starting point. Here, the Global is chked to determine which part of the map is made playable.

@tg If u didn’t notice the sniper can one shot terror drones in all mission in this campaign. Learned that in the previous mission.

I'm still impressed by this mod, it's so well made that it looks legit. Unlike most fan made mods you tell by the map design like terrain not matching or buildings out of place with the backgrouns, but this looks so real and I like it's set in Europe for once.

Fun fact, all the locations mentioned in the mod pack exist IRL. And the mapper did referenced the actual geographical features when building the map

@@3652xxyy You might be even more impressed if you tried the other two episodes (part 2&3) of the Rynderack trilogy (unfornately I think they're still in Chinese and haven't got English translation yet...). Not only are most mission locations real, the maps used in many of those missions actually very accurately resemble the corresponding real cities. :)

WHAT???!!!! Secret Mission??? So thats what i see on final alert 2. I open the frozen ocean map to investigate and i just see another map with another physic beacon. I thought that was unfinish map or something. I never expect something like this.

25:40 I like how even when you defeat Crazy Ivan, there is a script in place to make sure that something else destroys the bridge. 26:00 Never mind... huh why did that V3 decide to target the bridge then? Was it responding to being attacked or something?

It was for the same reason that the elite rhino went after TG's troops; being freed from mind control makes it aggressive to the player.

The start already reminds me of that RA3All mission where you protect a Salvage Ship to locate some Imperial Radar Ships. Will we get to see a giant Floating Island Fortress here too? :P 2:19 I guess that's one way to mimic an active volcano in RA2 where you don't have lava-tiles, unlike RA3. Basically you make a small, closed-area with the cliff tiles in such a way no unit can enter and add an invisible red light post. Then use a trigger to continuously spawn smoke or make use of one of the game's under-used mechanics: particle systems. 3:55 again, most/many missions were designed with the default speed of 30FPS in mind, not 60FPS via Speed-control hack. 4:08 there are some nifty things you can do with Globals. Changing the briefing, however, is not one of them. It's an engine limitation - only one briefing per mission-map. You manage to change the actual map *file* you can change the briefing too. Remember Ctrl+Alt+LMB. It's quire useful to force Infantry to the same cell and for bunching up tanks. 18:23 guess mapper forgot to add some CellTags; the hint-trigger about repairing the bridge should have fired the instant you were close to the bridge itself, not just the repair hut later. 19:22 ...wat... Must be some issue with the Guard-Range. Nothing else could explain that *very* close-call. 32:48 "sacrifices must be made"

Indeed. They are also difficult. If you do them, make sure you have the music included with Mental Omega, the ost is great. Plus I enjoy hearing Hell March Trilogy when you defend DC.

17:30 Ouch. 22:55 Looks like you're gonna gave to deal with the monster you created lol. 27:04 V3s have an acceleration mechanic, so they're slower than other 4 speed vehicles like Prisms and BFs, which lack it. And even Apocs have a better acceleration. Come on, you tested movement speed before. :)
