I'm lucky enough to say I've seen the back of a Hawk in great detail fitting the wire locking on the nuts for the ballast when the jet engine pipe was out. Certainly a school work experience like no other :)

He doesn't say that it's diesel that's sprayed out of those nozzles to create the smoke. Diesel out of the centre nozzle and red and blue dye out of the other two.

Antiquated jet. Hawk was a fine aircraft but way past its sell by date. The option is KAI T 50 Korean jet trainer. Off the shelf and delivery for 60 aircraft within 24months. But like the Ajax APC. The dithering from MOD isnt acceptable

Hawk T.1 is still a perfectly good aircraft for the Reds. For actual flying training, the T.2 is a massive step up

No. They are not teaching them RAF tactics and capabilities - that would indeed be a high crime. They are there to train pilots. Don't want it to happen? Then change the terms of their contracts. But how can you expect someone to turn down £200,000 for a short amount of work? It's nonsense.
