Great and informative video Rae!! Love the pin (s)!! I have been using The Linen Lady acid free tissue paper for years. And the Renaissance Ribbon French General has been in my stash for a while. A great find with the hoop holder ... love it!! Also, I've been married to a non handyman for 33 years this August.

I have to say again how much I love listening to your videos while I sew...Ann MCDonald looks like a pattern I should get, and your hoop stand was really unique! What really caught my attention though is that I will be traveling to Lees Summit at the end of this month so my hubby can bike ride on the Katy trail with my nephew who lives there. I had done some research and found Quilter's Station which is very close to where we will be and I plan to go spend some time shopping there while they bike ride, it looks like a wonderful shop! Beautiful samplers! I love your hoop holder! I have a small collection of hoops that I use daily for stitching. I’ve been dying to stitch Isabella ever since I saw you working on her at The Attic. As a Mom of two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, I can hardly wait to stitch those two Cavaliers! I collect transferware, too. ❤️

@@redbarnsamplers Queen Victoria had a Cavalier named Dash, whom she adored. There’s a lot of needlework from that time that includes Dash. They’re named after King Charles II, who always had a large group of with him all the time…and that’s more than you wanted to know. 😂 Except I love them.

Oh! And you’re right. There are King Charles Spaniels and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. The King Charles have more of a pug like face, the Cavaliers have a longer muzzle…..I’ll go away now….😉

Hi Rae-This is a long overdo thank you for the Scottish samplers book recommendation. I have so enjoyed it. Also I loved the Maggie Pepperell sampler and can’t wait until it’s available. I love it for her last name because as a teenager and military brat I attended Pepperell High School in Newfoundland and thought this small sampler would be a nice reminder of that time. Thanks too for the iPhone photos info. That will certainly save a lot of time when looking for something specific. Pin and Witney.

What a great tip on the phone. Grandson plays college baseball and am working on a big memory box and will eventually print out key pictures to use on the back inside of the box, what great advice.
