Omg this is perfect my baby boy is turning 1 on the July 25 😍, can I substitute the cashews with something else or what will happen if I don't put cashews?

I'm so glad you like the recipe!!! Cashews give creaminess to the frosting. If you only use coconut cream it might be a bit grainy, you need another ingredient to smooth the mix. I would suggest to switch with tofu instead (it doesn't have flavor and will smooth the coconut cream). Squeeze out the water from the tofu with a paper towel. Let me know how it goes!!! Ciao!! b

Hi love the recipe!! I wanna try to make this for my sons birthday, but I have a question. Where did u find the dates purée? Can I make it myself from dry dates? or is there something I can use in place of it? Thank you.

I made it. Soak the dates in water overnight and than simply puree them! Happy Happy birthday to your little one!!! ciao, b
