NASCAR is way louder. Indycar is faster (on ovals). F1 is quiet with little vacuum cleaner engines. (I’ve been to both nascar and f1 races). You don’t need earplugs at an f1 race you do at a nascar race

There is no exhaust pipe, aka muffler on F1 cars to increase performance. They also rev higher(RPMs) than normal cars.
