Love this mate !! Can't wait to see everyone riding it. FYI: When filming on the gopro with a wide angle setting it really doesn't do the track and gradient justice. Maybe think about setting your gopro to 'medium' rather than wide/superwise. Wide angle is nice for riding footage but no the best when just walking around.

10:30 The snakes are VENEMOUS! JFC, if she's the one educating you guys on the topic, I'd be doing a thorough Google to fact check whatever she said.
@dreadiedude11 ай бұрын
I thought exactly the same 😅
@danharvey309611 ай бұрын
it's true, as far as i know Tassie has atleast 3 venomous snakes. Tiger Snakes, which attack when threatened, but mostly actually keep to them selves, & if you stomp the ground as you walk they will mostly stay away, but if you're unlucky enough to be bitten you want to get some anti-venom quick smart! .. Maybe a brown snake, a Tassie cousin of the Eastern Brown in Victoria. But Brown snakes give you a warning tap first to say "fk off", from which if you ignore their warning they can bite, & theyre in the top 5 most venomous i think, but like i say they mostly stick to themselves.. then there's the Red Belly Blacksnakes, which are venomous, but are also the stoners of the snake world. They're really docile & mostly only bite if really threatened or annoyed. But like i say theyre the stoners of the snake world, Ive heard numerous stories, including from people ive known, of people just picking them up from around the entrance to their tents, & putting them back in the bush, out of the way.. It's not to say that the whole snake thing in Australia isnt that dangerous, it is if youre unlucky, & you have to keep your wits about you in the bush, but it's also overblown.. In both Tassie & Victoria, its not snakes or spiders that are the most dangerous consistently, but Bull Ants & Jumping Jacks, which are Bull Ants with wings basically. Theyre both more teritorial & their bite, although nowhere near like a venomous snake or spider, is still really nasty & often gets infected. So people consistently have more problems from those 2 than from all the snakes & most of the spiders, despite them hardly even being a part of the scary animal narrative.. Just a little context.. Also, as a Kiwi expecting snakes & spiders everywhere, in 8 years in Australia, in Victoria, Tassie, & the border of Victoria & South Australia, in both city, country & bush, i never saw one snake, & all the Redbacks i saw just kept to themselves, & werent invasive, you just had to be alert to them, as long as you were aware & careful, such as when moving bricks or wood, they were no problem. The whole "Everything's going to kill you" is way overhyped, you just have to be alert
@dreadiedude11 ай бұрын
@@danharvey3096 That's not what the comment was about - she said the snakes were poisonous, when they're obviously venomous, not poisonous.
@danharvey309611 ай бұрын
@@dreadiedude So your're talking about semantics then.. not everyone uses the correct description when explaining something informally.. Yes, venom maybe the term for a various mix of chemicals injected by certain animals in self defence, vs poison being what plants contain, in a form of self defence also.. But in everyday language we often use words interchangablly.. Saying "poisonous snakes" or "poisonous spiders" doesnt mean you know any less about either of them in practical experience.. Ergo, alot of people from Australia, that deal with venomous snakes & spiders regularly, such as people on farms, or people that work in the bush, also say "poisonous" when referring to the Eastern Brown snake, Tiger Snakes, Redback spiders, Funnel Web Spiders, & such. All being things they encounter regularly, when technically they mean venomous.. So as i say, semantics.. Assuming someones use of the wrong terminology means a lack of knowledge of the subject is the same as refuting someone's well researched knowledge on a political subject because they missed an apostrophe..

Spewing that a few features got made a bit easier. Knocking 30ft of the big double has made it look like a “big” jump instead of a “massive” jump. For Hardline standards anyway. Will still be sick to watch either way though!
@clareclarefasler853211 ай бұрын
Fair play to all the track builders a lot of hard work has clearly gone into creating Hardline 24. But, this seems awfully rushed. Dan and the team spent years building the course in Wales.. Admittedly it needed to change location or a redesign to keep interest. But I’ve got a feeling track design is going to cause some pretty nasty accidents that could have been avoided if designed differently.
