I played this piece in the sixth grade for Mr. Smith himself, in Florida, and got to talk to him myself. I will always remember the moment I hugged him. He was my favorite composer.

My band played it last year! As a clarinet player I have to say this was by far the most wonderful piece I’ve ever played! I love how we had our own moments in there! Which is rare, and it was so intense! Beautiful piece here😁😅❤️
