Synopsis: A hospital in the city of Ueda, Shinshu.
Koichiro Shindo, an elderly writer from Ueda with lung cancer was told that he had only a few days left to live. His nurse, Nozomi Takita Nozomi, has returned to her hometown after graduating from nursing school.
Shindo says he does not have the same passion as in the past, but Nozomi assures him that passion will come out if he wills it to.
