+Denise Lisboa If you ever see them live, go outside after the show near their tour bus. They hang out with the fans and take pictures, etc. I got to hang out with them and talk about music for about 30 minutes, and got a photo with the band. Really nice guys.

jacobjedi2 Just held it in landscape mode with 2 hands, one on each end to stabilize it. I guess its possible my hand was cupping around the mic area to block some of the sound pressure level on the front row. Either way, it turned out better than planned. And I filmed it at 30fps. This iPhone has the capability of recording video at 60fps! Of course that takes up a lot of space though.

Susan Berg Thank you! Next time you should come up to the front row! I arrived late, so I had to push my way up front, and it was filled with short people. The girls next to me were probably 5'1", and someone else had their 10yr old kid on the front too. But I'm sure the balcony view had to be pretty sweet too! ;)

Erik Stone well we had priority seating plus VIP passes...one person stayed behind to save our seats. My Canon camera took better videos but I didn't take too many because I wanted to see the show. My camera phone was ok. A friend taped two whole songs with his iPhone, but being up close to do that would have been better. I did get to see everything from where I was at. Best concert ever. Would love to make it for the other Illinois show, but adult responsibility such as work gets in the way since it's on a Wednesday. Great, great videos!

Susan Berg Yeah, I too would love to go to the other IL show, but it's actually right outside of St.Louis, so its way too far. I wanted VIP passes, but it was a bit too expensive for me, but it all worked out in the end. I got to meet the band after the show (they were just hanging out by their tourbus outside), so I got to chat them up for a good 20 minutes and took pics, etc. I liked your videos also that you posted, and I agree it was a GREAT show! +taylor antley My iPhone 6 has 2 video modes...30fps and 60fps. I filmed this in 30fps, not realizing it would turn out so good. Now I'm kicking myself for not filming in 60fps...it's just so much smoother action. With electronics, you get what you pay for. Apple puts premium components inside everything they make, and their software is optimized for that hardware; can't really say that with Android phones because of all the different manufacturers that they have to cater to. And I use to work for Motorola / Google.

I bought a 15" Macbook Pro for college, and it was definitely worth the premium price. It has an i7 processor, 2880x1800 resolution, 8 GB of RAM, and many other reasons to love. Because I mainly use my smart phone for texting, games, email, etc., I settle for "free" smart phones that are available at the end of my contracts. I have Samsung Galaxy S5 right now. I would have recorded the concert on my cheaper smart phone and then transferred it to my Macbook Pro for editing. I'm not sure how the recorded quality would compare to yours, but Apple's software could make up for that.

taylor antley You can only do so much with post-production on your Macbook. The source is the most important thing. You can now transfer old home movies to DVD or BlueRay, but they're still going to look like old home movies. That's because the "source" was an old video camera. There are some good Android phone cameras out there, but in general, they're very inconsistent from phone to phone. Each manufacturer uses different parts. With Apple, you know what to expect every time. Check out the Apple website for iphones, they still offer a 16GB iPhone 5S for $0. I know that's not ideal, but hey it's free. I had an iPhone 5 before this one, and it was a great phone. Or just save up for the iPhone 7 next Summer (if you really want an iPhone). Not trying to pressure you into buying one...lol. But yeah, you do get what you pay for.
