Just started the $19 intro course and in the first 10min I got one of the reasons why I was struggling at trading! I seriously thought the content in your KZbin videos couldn’t possibly be exceeded. I’m keen to do the full course soon. Green day today with $16.76. Took your advice to start with tiny share size when using real money (bought 10 shares SRRK) … scaling to 1000 shares would have been $1600 and 10,000 shares would have been $16,000 in one 5 minute trade! Not getting cocky… I know I need 70% of green days before I start scaling. Thanks for the classes and free content.

Nice recap. I am up $1 on a very small position (still practicing live money trading pre-market). Markets are down across the board, and to your point, maybe not a lot of Sentiment. As the song goes, "You got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em...). Nice example of discipline. Ross keeps it real.

Sorry to hear about the loss. I'm pretty new to trading but it def felt dry today. Let go of 10% profit, ended up getting out with 1.5% profit. A little disappointed I didn't take the 10% which is a personal threshold I set for my medium-short-term investing goals, but profit is profit, I can't be too upset. I'm grateful for the content you put out, you are a great teacher Ross. Best of luck through the week!

Paper trading Day 83: once again a super slow day today. I almost decided not to trade, but then decided to trade RIME at around 9:50 am. Took a small 100 share position at VWAP - it immediately failed, but then bounced back off $0.69 which I assumed was the current floor, so I added another 100 shares there (didn't want to risk much). Price went back to $0.77, so I'm a little bit in the green today with $12.43. Had worse days than today.

read your comment so I wanted to at least respond. small share (relative to your account so hopefully truly relatively small) size is a good call. The volume on these candles tell a much more compelling picture on these trades. Don't try to be the first person in on these moves. Wait for confirmation. It'll help you avoid some of the close call trades that inevitably become trades where you catch a knife.

@@gigid9606 oh, he absolutely does. Look up his educational videos on VWAP - he goes in depth on how he uses it. In general however I just don't buy under VWAP regardless of how nice the move looks. I tried it before and was burned every single time.

I saw that buyer on PEV as well and took the trade. He kept moving it a a penny or two and then the order disappeared and the stock fell off. Be careful out there. I felt like something was fishy with that order.

SOBR hit at around 11. That was the only good stock today. I was done by then. Took a trade and my p&l was negative. I was in draw down for most of the trade. Down 5% before turning around for 4% gain. Only trade I took today. Today was not good, man. But I'm on a 6 day green streak in my $600.00 account. 41% in the past 6 days.

WHLR made a clean move as well it halted once. At this point I just have the halt scanner up since most of the movements have been chinese stocks and I don't wanna touch em. I can usually get in a dip trade after a halt and that's what saved my life today

Yeah, a red day for me too. Been trading a new strategy, has been doing well on good days, usually 20 or 40 dollars. On bad days, I've kept my losses to under 20, mostly under 10. The strategy is almost I identical to Ross's, with the main difference being they type of stocks. Hopefully, this strategy will continue.

My big play right now is GSIW. It is about to squeeze hard. My prediction is that it’s going to hit $4.20 minimum and $10 or more on the high side. It’s been building pressure for a little over a week.

Today was my 4th green day in a row. All small stuff. $2500 for 200 or 300 shares kind of stuff. Still a lot of learning and experimenting. +$12 on ALTM, then -$9. And +$8 on AAL. Then I walked away. I'm glad to see I'm watching some of the same stocks. Thanks.

I held SRRK too long after the first dip and paid for it. I still expect it to go over 35 but I took the L in premarket. Was afraid of profit taking tanking it at the open so I got out on that little swing up and didn't trade anything else. GSIW would have been a winner if I'd taken it when I wanted but I was actively losing in SRRK and didn't want anymore on my plate.. I usually dig a bigger hole with bad decisons after a hit like that on a slow day so that was it for me today

I’m doing great on GSIW. It’s getting ready to blow its lid off. And i was in on SOBR from last Friday. So i caught that run this morning and I’m good for the month to be honest. Unfortunately that’s my paper trading account. I was in on SOBR with my cash account but I was scared and sold tight after I became profitable and it pulled back a smidge. I went down 50% on SOBR last Friday so I was very happy and thankful to recover from that. I’m still struggling in my cash account. Which is why i haven’t given another update in a while. I’m getting it figured out a little more everyday though.

Today was scary as hell. Went max loss on one trade premarket. Went sideways into open after no news and I didn't want to touch chinese stocks after they kept flushing. Spiraled after open with flush after flush until WHLR halted and I got a quick dip but I was still down $1.7k on the day. I just sat there staring at the scanners for something until SOBR shows up on the halt scanner and I thought this is going to be my winner and it just kept showing strong support and kept halting. Managed to make 1.9k off it putting me green $200 on the day. SOBR still has some life left in it but the volume is getting low so I'm walking away while I can with a small green day 🙈 Hate how I showed discipline last week but lose my composure on Monday after there wasn't anything worth trading at the start of pre market

i made money today ..but not really. I give myself an F minus in the SIM. I kept shorting higher on AMBO until i held 64,000 shares! In reality i would have blown my account and not been able to exit that large a position at the price i eventually covered at....so it LOOKS like a $10K profit but in reality i blew it up. Hey Ross, I'd swear i saw a video of u lately, were you recap your statistics too, coming to the same conclusion "mhh, mondays are the worst tradingdays". And now i read "Red Day Recap". ... You had the answer already. And it still makes sense to me, why your mondays are more likely to be red. Cause it might be that you had your earnded weekend, wholesome family time and your head is wrapped around completly different things. And i would assume, on mondays you rush through way more titles than normal, to get an half solid overview about what you might missed, and because of that you do your valuation more superficial than normal. My "poor" advise would be, at least 2 more coffees or tea on monday mornings. All the news that piled up over the weekend should keep you busy and away from any charts. And it might help as a potential "what could be on the menu for the week". Slothmondays ftw.
