"Owlhoot" is 19th Century slang for "outlaw." So, Andy and Mike are hunting the Outlaw Family, who are outlaws. Apparently, one of the crimes not listed on the Wanted poster is Excessive Redundancy.

The fact they always ignore what it says on screen (like 'take the bounty to the wagon' all the while wondering out loud what the wagon wheel symbol on the minimap means) and never seem to have shot even a deer to harvest some decent food to actually have working cores etc REALLY irks my OCD... and yes dead eye works online, why wouldn't it? I'm wondering how they played through the story, if they just ate tinned food and spent all their time/money on tonics instead of hunting etc. I mean a single wolf pack harvested will keep you well fed and healthy for a full in-game week, and they literally show up anywhere and everywhere every night multiple times

I think what's happened with Mike's game is perhaps that his cores only show up during battle or when they're actively depleting? I seem to recall taht being an option. Also, you should be able to take 2 of the horses from the guys you killed in Fort mercer and put the other bodies on it? I know that works in the main game, idk about Online. I used to do that with for hunting, i'd steal some horses and use it as extra baggage space for corpses of animals.

It's in the display options. Mike's must be set to 'Dynamic'. You can bring the icons up manually by pressing down on the D-pad. When you want to haul more than one body, you put one on your owned horse, then ride the 'borrowed' horse while whistling your horse to follow.

A lot of it can get quite repetitive, but they're adding more stuff at a better pace now so it's definitely worth taking a look at it. I'd recommend hitting left on the D-pad as soon as you load in though and edit your online settings. Make sure you're set on 'Defensive' and change your horse settings under the Stables option so no other players can randomly shoot you/steal your horse and stuff on it - I only started online last week and got a lot of hassle from the level 200+ tryhards randomly killing me just because they could, at least until I got used to the settings etc anyway

Good to know they have some settings that keep newbies from getting gunned 3 minutes in. If I survive 10 minutes I'll take it as a win. 😆😆

Just the other day I got pulled in a posse that immediately set upon the legendary bounty mission (with the sniper). Of the trio, I was the only one who never lost a life.
