This Legendary Animal can only be found in free roam. It has a higher chance of spawning between 9AM and 9PM, in clear or foggy weather.
This ram has been spotted high up in the Grizzlies, east of the Calumet Ravine. With a gray body and a bright white head, this ram is of great interest to Naturalist in the area. It has no issue negotiating the rocky landscape and has been seen in both broad daylight and the low light of dusk. However, it is rarely spotted in wet weather.

As soon as the animal spawns for them, join their session and sedate\kill the animal. If your friends don't have any interactions with the animal - by sedating, killing it or being killed by it - and leave the session as soon as you join, they can spawn as many Legendary Animals as they want, helping you hunt the same animal over and over if necessary.

This and the legendary fox up next to Colter are the only legendaries I got to spawn for me and this was a day or two after the DLC dropped. Haven't seen one again. Out of all the legendary hoods though, this one is by far my favorite.

Im happy they brought the three rams onto Xbox one and PC. I've hunted every legendary animal except for the chalk horn ram North of grizzly's East abd the two new grizzly bears. I'm rank 20 but I still had similar issues trying to find them. Can't wait to see what legendary animal or animals are released this week.

Even in solo sessions it's too difficult. You can spend hours searching the same areas in the "perfect" conditions and most of these animals never show up.

when you watch a video its been edited- theres several players all doing this ,they submit their vids & yes some people get lucky some get great solo lobbies ( which is the fast method to ledge animals) they al;so play PC NOW IM NOT SAYING THEY MOD - but ....if they wanted to,they could easily replicate this with a mod pack - makes vids faster which gets you on search higher which gets you likes n subs which gets you a google cheque at the end of the month....WHICH IS WHAT ALLLLLL THIS HAS BEEN ABOUT :D

i’m super late to hunting these animals but if you still are looking for this ram, i suggest trying free mode and running back and forth through the spawn. if you don’t get any random events for awhile, switch your mtu (playstation) to 900. when you load back in you’ll be in a solo lobby, and somehow when i did that this ram appeared right next to me first try

Lmfao just go 30feet away from your camp and change your appearance but do go through with it you won't have to pay 10 Gold. When you back out you will be at your camp in solo in the area of the animal you want I did this alot it works 90% of the time

These guides are great but Legendary Animals are basically non-existant in free roam. They are bugged beyond belief and the higher your Naturalist role, the worse it gets. There's just way way too much outside of your control and it's random stuff as well so just trying to find the animals is so frustrating. They should all just be available via missions from Harriet because the system in place right now is genuinely unfair.

You cvan actually use the Corpse of the Legendary and donate it to Cripps and fill up 50% of the Goods little Tip !!

Yes but dont use the free roam ones since they are rare just skin them and sell the pelt

@@Phoenix-ff5du You can Skin it and then donate the Corpse and that after you took a Sample or you killed it and took the Pelt that works for all small ones Alligators,Bisons,Moose dont work everything else works to donate after taking a Sample kill it and donate it if you need the Pelt kill it skin it sell the Corpse so basically it doesnt matter if there Free Roam you can donate the Corpse allways without losing the Pelt or getting no Sample little Tip ^^

Rob Ennis I got it the day after i wrote this comment :) But for it to work, i had to mess around in the area for a while, and i was with a friend too, so maybe that could help, i think my friend had just gotten another legendary right before we found the chalk horn, i think he got the snow buck around aurora basin right before, and i think the clock was around 9pm ingame, and the weather had just cleared up from a storm

I suddenly understood that it was a sort of Capra or Stambecco. In Ancient Greece the Greek people called this kind of animal as Pan or Satirus, as just like I saw in the videogame Jason and the Rise of Argonauts. During the Little Big Horn War, Mojave, Navajo and other indian natives used to wear animal's furs as a sign of battle. Geronimo, Crazy Horse and Taurus seated they fought for their principles to ask California was free, and they asked to stop carnage towards to bisons. In RDR 1 when you ride with a native he said: "You hunt bisons to sell to the market, instead we eating them". This isn't a subliminal messages. Maybe you don't know guys and girls, when American natives eating them, they use their furs to absorb and feel their energy. This is just like ASSASSIN'S CREED. When their wear animals furs or drink something just like potion they feel euphoric. Indian natives calling their God as Eagle represented in Totem or wolf.
