Its cool how the dialogue changes a bit if some missions are done in different order, I did the hunting one first and since there was no O'Driscoll in my camp yet, Arthur didn't mention him, however back at the camp you can talk to people about catching deer for dinner, now I wish to begin again and do the O'Driscolls camp mission first just to know these small changes in dialogue.

If you went to the O’Driscolls camp first then you can see Kieran tied up to a wooden pillar inside the stable when you’re done with the mission.

I just started playing and beat the game but I like how that changes depending on the order.I used to laugh in old rockstar games or just any games.you'll go somewhere and then in the mission you'll go and the guy would act like he never been there ever.in rdr2 Arthur says he ran into lemoyne raiders before in the mission u meet them if u did run into then before.

I understand why people dont like this chapter, me personally... I love it, my favouite westerns include the great silence and the hateful eight wich this is very remeniciant of, in fact I had ennio morricones soundtrack to the hateful eight, and the one thing i love about this chapter is that micha isnt as dislikable as he is through the other chapters, my first impression of him was that he was gonna be the malcom tucker of the group, that is untill I played past chapter 2, this story is very much like the wild bunch, no ones fully evil no ones fully good, everyone is broken and violent but you root for some and hate the others. in fact there are ten films that I think hold water as insparations 1) chapter 1 colter - the hateful eight 2) hunting a bear with hosea - the revenant 3) jhon from chapter 6 to the start of rdr 1 - the man with no name trilogy 4) arthurs relationship with eagle flies and rains fall - the outlaw josey wales 5) chapter 2 horseshoe overlook - the wild bunch 6) arthur helping jhon to escape - butch cassidy and the sundance kid 7) chapter 3 clemants point - Django unchained 8) chapter 4 saint denis - once upon a time in america 9) the dynamic of arthur, micha, dutch and saide - once upon a time in the west 10) RDR1 - unforgiven

It sucks that in red dead 1 the strange man talks about Dutch shooting the girl on the ferry, and in the journal on red dead 2 says the same thing but I don’t think we see that ferry mission because we start playing just after that

You're right that the game takes place shortly after the ferry job. I think it's better for the narrative / story that we didn't witness it ourselves because then it still leaves up the question of whether Dutch is still in his right state of mind. If we witnessed Dutch go crazy from the start, then we'd already assume there's something wrong. Instead it's left somewhat ambiguous with only characters briefly mentioning the incident here and there. But who knows - maybe if they make another prequel in the future, perhaps the game might show the event. I just feel that for this game's narrative it was best to leave it.

I kind of like that the Blackwater massacre is an unseen event. It gives more ambiguity and mystery to it. Also Hosea and Arthur weren’t even there in Blackwater. They were doing their own separate little scam job. If they do RDR3 maybe we could see what happened in Blackwater at the end
