they say that they can’t do anything about it from there part because it’s a fault on your “connection” and or router. they also say that red dead has certain settings that lets players be able to play with “uninterrupted gameplay”, so your internet connection or settings has to meet requirements to the games required internet settings to be able to play it without being kicked.

I've been kicked from the servers at least 10 times already tonight and I've only been trying to play for maybe an hour and a half. Part of that time was me trying to clear my cache to see if that would help, but nah. The most I've been able to play is 15 minutes and it pisses me off. Average is, ya know, I fuckin minute. I did not write this I got it off of reddit but hopefully it will help people out My 2 cents in this is that GTA online had the same problem. Im pretty sure both GTA online and RDR2 have a peer 2 peer connection. That is, you only talk to a rockstar server when using cash/gold, or when recieving mission rewards, etc. Yet for gameplay you just talk with the other players through peer2peer on your session. Problem is most players are not from the US, so ping and packet loss gets worse when lots of people on your session have spotty internet. What happened then in GTA online? yeah well you just got disconnected from those players and found yourself in a solo session, The thing is that RD online has several freeroam missions that can be farmed easily if you are in a solo session since the idea of them is for others to try to steal them from you. Since lots of people "abused of the connection system on GTA online" (rockstars didnt like it that people made solo sessions) they upped the threshold on disconnections and didnt implement a solo session, meaning that if your peers on the session lost connection with you, you are going back to menu. Thats why rockstars is so defensive and telling people that its the users problem and not theirs, because they dont wont people abusing solo sessions.

Rockstar only nerf the spawn locations of expensive collectibles, the fix any money glitch and exploits. But when you are grinding or about to complete a mission or challenge you can get disconnected because of their server error (fault) and you lose everything. Rockstar has no respect for players time. This is disgusting! They should give every week 5 gold bars or 1k for compensating for our time and effort to earn money or play.. they have no idea how annoying and frustrating when you lose everything because you get disconnected. They don’t fix it.. that’s ridiculous.. I am furious with this situation.. it’s their servers that don’t work.. not our network.. I’ve wasted so much of my precious time and I am poor in this game..

I tried everything you said to do and sadly it only worked for 30 minuets until it booted me. I cannot play this game, AT ALL. I have tried to do what rockstar suggests I should do, I have done what other people have said worked for them. Sorry wish I could of said it worked for me I have tried port forwarding and many other things including this. Rockstar just seems puzzled when you talk with there support. I've called my internet provider and have had them reset my modem/router and still has not worked
