Red Dead Redemption 2 Hunting Mission Bug

Mine keeps crashing before we get there. He drives into a tree and that ends the whole thing. I've restarted and saved new points and same thing keeps happening. Guess I'll just shelf if. Shits unplayable :(

That is strange, I’m sorry to hear. Try sending a recording of it to Rockstar games tech support. Restarting fixed it for me so unfortunately besides reinstall the game and doing another random quest and saving on a empty save slot I can’t think of anything you can do but to reload a mission or two prior. 😞

This is happening to me to. I guess this is a fairly recent bug because I’ve never seen this happen before.

@@markdaddy6754 Finally. I re installed it, and then had to update again. If you delete and re install it will say your save is damaged. So buckle up for another 10GB download to update and it worked! Mine is disc version btw, I read people saying this only happened with the PS Store download

For everyone asking how to fix hosea bug when u walk into the stable don't buy a horse just take the free one and it will work i just tried and it worked perfectly 👌

im stuck on the tree where Hosea stops and does nothing like he has brain damage please help me.... I'm sure this is my last mission for Ch. 2 I think. Rockstar needs to fix RDR2 for story mode and online. nvmi have fixed it easy i'll tell you what I did for people who have the same problem . What I did was when I exited the stable after buying my horse I failed the mission 3 times(by shooting people) and skipped the checkpoint and it skipped the tree part... that's it.

That is odd, if u have TNT try killing Arthur and restart the entire mission

@@nicolasghioca try doing other missions that you have and when done all of them you are able to go hunting with hosea have fun gaming

How did u get this fix? I'm on same mission now and before I get to the spot hosea stops at a tree and doesn't move at all. It's a big bug.

Yes it is, I ended up rage quiting and retried the mission

Did you try actually ending the mission? Try doing something else, save a new save on a empty slot and exit the game delete install files and re install the game
