Games in future might have better graphics but would never come close to the sheer detail and the amount of details such details that most players like me didn't even knew existed. I believe the only game that might trump RDR2’s graphics is GTA6, because RDR2 is a piece of art that hasn’t been matched by any game. Just go to the top of a mountain and you’ll get what I mean.

@@khato111 Well gta 6 would most defintely be better when it would come to texture updates as their is a gap of 5 years in the 2 games but gta 6 would be more of like industrial and city type Rdr2 on the other hand has this amazing American wild west feeling for example. The sun rays bloom through the leaves of the tree as they fall on the ground taking a horse ride near the forests of emerald ranch and valentine the chirping of the birds. RDR2 has achieved the realism that as of 10 years no wild west game would think of achieving.

Damn the sketching part is actually a really cool detail. If you read Arthur’s journal, you’ll know that Arthur has been journaling for years and he had another journal but lost it. No wonder why he’s better at sketching. John only does it after he gets Arthur’s things and from what we see, John rarely uses the journal (except for during free roam gameplay). During some cinematic scenes, Arthur narrates some lines which implies that he’s writing his own thoughts in his journal. For John’s cinematic scenes, it’s him recounting what other people said to him which is why you won’t find much of his writing in Arthur’s journal. I won’t lie, this game is the reason why I got a journal. I bought a Gryffindor journal from the Harry Potter store in New York when I was in the city and just started writing in it once or twice every week. It kind of helps me mentally ngl.

I don't think it's ridiculous. It really pleased people at that time with it's perfect reboot of the franchise. God of war really should be appreciated for rebuilding the franchise into something greater making all of its past meaningful. Not many people could do that (like Ubisoft with Assassin's creed). The game nailed third person hack and slash action and the story was the best in the franchise yet. I'm not shitting the older games of GoW, still think they are underrated. But, the fact that GOW won the 2018 Goty is perfectly understandable.

throughout the years def lost my hopes for VI, especially with how the rumor was they were going to dial it down because of the "times", combined with an 11 year wait, but im hearing good things. theyre supposedly even using a similar gore and physics system ( not a sadist but if a grenade lands in front of you, you dont just ragdoll and have a few dark marks on your shirt XD ) but dang, imagine a modern day city with the same dynamics, random encounters and discoveries like they put in rdr2. Even on a similar level that would be insane, let alone if they top it.

In chapter 2 I found if you have the serial killer Edmund Lowery on your horse you can travel to, and around Blackwater, but if you dare to cross to New Austin the sniper gets you It's a good way to get the legendary Rock Bass fish in chapter 2... Do it when he's on your horse and you're meant to be taking him to the sheriff of Valentine. There's other ways of getting to go to these places but I just found this by chance when I decided to mess about whilst he was on my horse, it all started with me deciding to go fishing (god knows why lol) 😂
