A compilation of ambient/relaxing tracks from the game Red Dead Redemption 2. Including music that plays during cutscenes, missions, free roam and stranger missions. Most of featured tracks are gamerip, therefore not found in the official soundtrack.
"Life's greatest adventure is in doing one's level best.”- Arthur Morgan
In my opinion an excellent game centering around the theme of change, with a very memorable soundtrack, my personal favorite being "fleeting joy" which is not included in this playlist, as it is the opposite of relaxing and ambient.

i m 153 years old, and i play video games since i was 3 days old. this is by far the best game that i have ever played. the story, the music, the world, the things, the things and of course the other things are just too good. if only my close relative who passed away would still be here so i could show him this generic copy paste comment that you can find under every youtube video.

Some people hate riding your horse far distances in the game, For me I love it... The music in the background makes the journeys you take an experience. It leaves you alone with you and your thoughts, Exactly how Arthur uses that time to think. It makes me feel like I'm in Arthur's shoes and no game before this has done it for me so well...

I’ve recently revisited RDR2 3 years later for my 2nd play through. I wanted to recapture the magic I experienced in my first play through and man.. it even exceeded that. I’m able to pace myself now to enjoy even the smallest of things. RDR2 doesn’t feel like a game to me.. it feels like I’m living another life. The life of Arthur Morgan. It’s an experience. From walking around camp and interacting with each gang member, the random encounters in the world, enjoying the scenery, exploring locations, getting yourself into trouble, helping others, the decisions and choices… no other game does this. RDR2 deserves way more praise than what it gets.. this was a gem that other games need to look up to. The immersion is insane and the fact that it’s an experience that keeps on giving if you play it correctly is just so mind blowing. This is probably one of the only games that I can say that it was worth every single dollar and then some. When you 100% it you just want it to keep going.. this is hands down my favorite game of all time. This has changed the way I look at games and after playing this it’s been harder for me to enjoy other games because they don’t feel as deep and immersive. It kind of sucks because I want to thoroughly enjoy games .. but it shows how awesome RDR2 is.
@peapea412

This comment is amazing and so very true! A few days ago while playing RDR2 online, I kind of just took a chance to just rest by my camp's fire with my horse, Cripps, and just cooking off a pot of coffee and some food. Just me, the horse, the night sky, the wilderness, and the chiming sounds of Cripps playing his harmonica in the background. Gave me just a moment of peace and relaxation, and I just sat there by the fire and stayed listening for a while. It's a great game, and it takes you to another world. Literally.

This soundtrack always makes me remember in the summer of 2016, driving through the Yukon and Alaska alone on my way to Fairbanks (my final posting in the Army). Alien landscapes to me, vast emptiness like I didn't know still existed on earth, and heading into the complete unknown. It almost makes you feel helpless how vast it is. Some real wild west shit going on up there still. Ended up loving every minute. Edit: I’m back in Alaska now living in Fairbanks once more, working 2 weeks on 2 weeks off in the Brooks range in the Arctic. Life is good for this vaquero

Hey man, I was posted at Ft. Ain't Right from 2010 to 2013. I was too young to really get out of my comfort zone in the wilderness, but to the day I still wistfully remember that sense of being on the frontier. The Aurora, the vastness. Really felt like the edge of civilization. I was salty, at the time, that I didn't get a "cool" post like Italy. But as I get older...I keep thinking it might be nice to go back sometime. Alaska really is a breathtakingly beautiful state.

So I was bitter and I didn't let myself enjoy it until towards the end and that is one of my biggest regrets. But MAN the fucking amount of life I lived there... I go back all the time, and all the boys talk about moving back. Some already did, and some never left in the first place. I'm moving back for good this summer.

Red Dead Redemption, man... what a story. From Arthur Morgan to John Marston. I so badly want the narrative of these games to be made into a TV show. I know it could never live up to the experience of the games, but my dad doesn't play or have an interest in gaming, and so a tv show would be the only way for him to experience this story, and I know for a fact he would love it. I'm the only person in my family and amongst my friends that plays games, and so there is a strange indescribable feeling I get when I finish an incredible story like RDR2, knowing that my closest friends and family will never experience or understand it, despite it moving me in such deep ways.

This is how I feel! My dad used to ride around in RDR1, but I don't think he ever played the story. He doesn't handle complex gameplay super well, so racing cars is more his thing normally. Plus, he always comes down on me for playing video games. He'd prefer his kids do something "productive," even if it means I'm writing my fantasy stories instead of gaming. But I *really* want him to see some of the things I've experienced. Video games aren't just a waste of time. I have some very strong friendships built on the games I've played with people online. I can hardly listen to the Halo soundtracks these days without being overcome by nostalgia. Some of the strongest bits of inspiration I've gotten for my stories have come from video games I've played. And sometimes, the characters I play become something/someone else when I turn them over in my mind. It's about what we take away from an experience, and I really wish I could get my dad to see how some of my video game experiences have genuinely helped me to be a better person. Even the ones that folks wouldn't expect.

I am 62 years old from a Mediterranean small island called Malta .... I started gaming on my retirement (1 month ago)... my grandchildren introduced me to gaming and gave me this game as my retirement gift ..... I think this is one of the best things that has ever happened to me ..... the characters, the era (in which I would have wished to be living) .. I spend hours playing. I must say I get killed easily sometimes but I'll get there . ... The Soundtrack is phenomenal ...

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an absolute masterpiece, the story is one of the most powerful ones I have ever seen in a game, Arthur Morgan is the best protagonist created by Rockstar Games, he has so much depth, you really feel like your on the journey with him throughout the game, the open world, man you could spend hours upon hours exploring the gorgeous world, no game since has come close to it in my opinion, even 4 years on the game still is a joy to play, Rockstar Games best game and my personal favorite game of all time, a timeless classic 👏👏👏👏

If you have the time, this is the best game ever. I was on medical leave, both my feet had to heal for about a month and a half. I had no idea what to do. So I got myself a PS4 pro and RDD2. I started playing literarly everyday, all day. From the time I woke up untill the time I went to bed. Loved every single minute of it. Once I finnished the game to a completion I sold the PS4 and went back to work. I was in my house the entire time but it felt like I just went on a journey. Amazing, amazing game...nothing like it out there.

This mix is incredible. Thanks for uploading. RDR2 was unlike anything else. One of the few games I've ever played, if not the only game, where I could just walk around a town, or trot slowly on my horse in the wild, and be blown away by what I was experiencing. Been gaming since Super Nintendo, can not believe how realistic the gaming experience has become. Incredible to grow up and witness its transformation.

This game cuts deep at the point of life and "where are we going" as a society. The good ol days weren't good and the future tends to be more of the same. We should all move forward everyday like TB Arthur. Only killing when it's moral and collecting lots of horsies 😁 it resonates with everyone for these reasons

Best game I have ever played. I have played it fully through 4 times on console and 3 on pc, did everything there is to do in the online mode, and it still feels so fresh to me. There is so much in the world of rdr2 to do, to explore. The music, setting, story, make for easily my most relaxed, emotional, and tense times in playing video games. Funny story, my grandpa sat down and watched me play rdr2 when I didn't know he was there for 2 hours, and when I turned around he saw me using a controller. He said "Wait, is this one of them video games?" I told him yes, and the face of shock he made is still so memorable, he had thought he was watching this exciting western movie with me, but almost cried at the fact it was all a video game. I asked him "Why are you crying?" He said that he had always read and watched old western stuff his whole life, and he used to play with old western toys that he passed on to me when I was little. He said the fact that such a realistic, dynamic world could be explored and interacted with at someone's own will was mind blowing for him. He also said he remembers watching my mom play pong and other Atari/Nintendo games, and that I reminded him of her and those memories. He then hugged me, and went to bed. That's what rdr2 is, a pinnacle in the advancement of media, specifically video games. After watching almost every western movie with my grandpa when I was a kid, I can understand why rdr2 really does feel like one of those, and that is what makes it so refreshing every time to play and why I will never turn down a replay of it.

"He was a-" John is taken a back. "-a temporary moral guide for me." He continues. "A compass that showed me, my family and many others out of Dutch's delusion, and false idea of paradise." John leans forward in the chair, closer to the author. "Arthur Morgan is the reason why I'm still here, the reason why my family is still here, the reason why I have a home- and a life I can live _almost_ freely." 'Interesting, Mr. Morgan sounds more a saint than a sinner if you ask me.' The author remarks. "Yeah," John chuckles "He weren't the man you saw on those wanted posters, deep down Arthur was so much more than the criminal many saw him to be, in his final days he saved and aided many people who were in dire need-" He sits back slightly, and tilts his head down. "Arthur Morgan wasn't perfect, but he sure as hell tried." John rubs his left shoulder with his right hand and sighs, speechless and lost in thought. 'Anyhow, I must get going, my train will be here soon enough- I'm headed up north to meet someone else,' The author got up and turned to the door. John snapped out of his trance, thinking of the events that had transpired in 1899. "You said you were meeting someone up north, huh?" John questioned, suddenly. 'Why ofcourse.' The author quickly replied. "Who are they?" John questioned again. 'A certain Charles Smith, he wrote to me telling me of his vast knowledge of Arthur, by the sound of it- it may even be as extensive as yours.' The author chuckles and pulls out a pipe, lighting it and shoving a trilby onto his head, he heads towards the front door. "Strange times. See you whenever- partner." John regressed as he sipped a cup of coffee. 'Fare-thee-well, Jim Milton.' He opens the door and leaves, walking into the evening rain. "Strange times indeed." A gruff American voice jests from behind.

Im nearly 2091 years old and played all Games that exist since 69 before christus and I have to admit this is the best. Everything is perfect and this Game will Never be beaten and it’s impossible to be better and and and. It’s not a Game. It’s a living, breathing world in my ps5. It changed my long and boring Life. I still cry at songs that were used in this experience, which are the best songs ever made by geniuses far greater than Mozart. I will never forget Arthur. He was like a father to me and the best character created in entertainment history because he was a good man. He felt like a real person from which I never met one. I have a serious depression since I got born. His death made me cry for weeks because he was the only person I knew because I never left my room full of chips and flips. I miss him so much 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I wish all my friends and Family members were still alive so I can show them this masterpiece because they were huge western fans.
