I know this might sound stupid but rdr2 inspired me to be a better person and enjoy the present no matter the circumstances. It also taught me to be more kind to strangers and to look for happiness within rather than in others or material possessions, but also this makes me sad because there isn't much kindness left and people are becoming more fake and cynical than ever which makes it hard to stay positive, I've been a loner my whole life and I speak very little compared to most people but I try to speak in actions rather than speak in words if that even makes sense, I sometimes struggle to keep this up but it's all worth it if it brings a little more kindness back to the world. I don't expect anyone to read these incoherent ramblings but in case you did thanks for your attention.

Makes me want RDR3 to be about Landon Ricketts. Music makes me think about that tired old man.

With every great game, the soundtrack brings a nostalgia and inner peace whenever I revisit. Thanks for the upload man

There’s something very lonely and tired about this music, probably because this location is where the final chapter of Arthur’s story takes place.

Arthur Morgan is the only protagonist I genuinely care for when playing. Usually in a game I wouldn’t care about eating, sleeping or bathing if neglecting those mechanics doesn’t kill me. But when I noticed dirty Arthur was, I went to go find somewhere I could take a bath. When he looks tired, I let him eat and sleep. I probably wouldn’t prioritize those mechanics in any other game.

when I was grinding away to platinum the game a few years ago I would find myself sitting on top of one of these hills bird spotting to try to catalogue the rare birds, and this peaceful scene had me not wanting to leave

I started playing this game a few years ago, on PS4.... Unfortunately, I lost the desire to play it... But a few days ago, I started playing it on my PC and now I play this game when I'm not in the mood to play FFXIV or when I don't really feel like doing what I have to do, and oh god... I think I've fallen in love with RDR2. Maybe not as much as FFXIV, which has meant so much more to me in recent months, but it's almost the same. I love traveling on my horse, listening to the ambient music and hearing the animals and NPCs around, hunting from time to time for the camp, helping NPCs because I try to be a nice guy, paying attention to lots of details and sometimes doing the story for a change when I don't want to chill. There's so much to do in this game, it's an incredible adventure that I've started and I hope this time I won't abandon it. ✨ And now, when I don't play, I'm just here, listening to this video / playlist for RDR2 ambient music to chill ❤

You'll grow to love it more every day. I also dropped It the first time, then picked it up again a year later. I finished the whole story three times since then

Thank you so much for uploading this! Whenever I want to fall asleep or if I want to be alone, left in peace, this helps me to collect myself or daydream. Rockstar nailed the ambience in this game, very thematic.

When I hear this all I can see is my Arthur on his Raven Black Shire, Xanthus, cantering through the states and watching the environments slowly change and blend together while in cinematic camera. Occasionally animals would run by or dash across the road as they rode on through their journey to the waypoint set ahead of them halfway across the map, stopping only to replenish cores before getting back in the road. And on certain occasions where no one else was around and you were truly alone you could hear Arthur sing, if for only a few seconds. I loved being able to watch the cinematic journey of my character, enjoying the little things along the way as well as appreciating how much effort was put into such a vast and beautiful world that could take days to cross. I’d give anything to see this game for the first time and experience it all over again.

Never beat this game, slowly working my way there. Everytime I turn it on, I get so engrossed and lost in the world and ambiance that I’ll play for hours on end and accomplish almost nothing story-wise. I just loved riding around and enjoying the world.

I don't know how, but the ambience in this game carries a huge sense of "a land that was once freedom and wilderness. Gone now." It some how *sounds* like a bygone era

I get a weird feeling of nostalgia when listening to this. I feel like I’ve truly lost a part of myself as I’ve lost Arthur, then slowly stopped playing rdr2 as I somehow lost interest. When the story ended I had so many mixed feelings, I had loved the game so much I felt empty, and even 2 years after playing the main story, I still feel like I’m missing something. A true masterpiece this game, and I’m so glad I played it. It changed my life.
