ambient music is under rated, it is always playing at the back of your mind and you sub consciously remember it and never take notice of it until you search for that piece of ambient music, and it just sends chills right down your spine and brings back some of the greatest memories, Red Dead Redemption done this perfectly, as I hear the ambient music after 7 years of playing it back in 2011, it is just amazing and makes you want to go back to the good old days.

This game changed my life and I haven't felt this way about a video game since GTA 3 in 2001. I still haven't bought another game since. It helped me remember how much I love nature, so I took hiking outdoors to the next level. I finished this summer climbing mountain peaks. It also got me very into history and now studying centuries beyond the 1800s. The experience is still going today.

I know this might sound stupid but rdr2 inspired me to be a better person and enjoy the present no matter the circumstances. It also taught me to be more kind to strangers and to look for happiness within rather than in others or material possessions, but also this makes me sad because there isn't much kindness left and people are becoming more fake and cynical than ever which makes it hard to stay positive, I've been a loner my whole life and I speak very little compared to most people but I try to speak in actions rather than speak in words if that even makes sense, I sometimes struggle to keep this up but it's all worth it if it brings a little more kindness back to the world. I don't expect anyone to read these incoherent ramblings but in case you did thanks for your attention.

These actions of yours will forever be remembered by those you've shared your kindness to. RDR2 has given me the same sort of feeling. @@majik5194 I disagree, stories of Gta5 and Rdr1 feel compact and focused, while rdr2 story feels like its dragging on a bit when you reach Ch.6, which is the same issue with Gta4, so I'd say both have some pacing issues, but the interactivity and variety of environments in the world of Rdr2 make it feel a lot more dynamic and deep which makes people believe it is better, when in reality Gta games can be as much enjoyable but its just a little bit more casual experience.

I wish there was a random time stamp where Arthur gallops through and antagonizes someone. “Howdy” “Hey there mister” “Who let the fool outta the asylum?” “That’s no-“ “I’M TALKIN!” “Leave me alone!!” “Go find a skirt to hide under!!”

I'm still coming back to this. Thinking of the old days and missing riding for hours with arthur through the countryside. Looking forward all day just to turn on the playstation to dive into the world and feel like an outlaw for a few hours. Now I'm sitting here remembering the good times, and I'm just happy to have experienced those times. The good old days ...

The sound of the elk in the background and the wind blowing the leaves, the birds chirping, this is the sound that makes this game come to life..I hear this and feel envious of my character as he rides his horse through big valley.. Trying to take in the surroundings.. Then some aSshole griefers come by and start harassing me for no reason.. My character feeds them to the grizzly bears... O sorry my character woke up from his dreaming.

RDR2 - My first ever AAA game on my recent RTX computer. Over 230 hours to fully complete it, and one if not the most beautiful game I have ever played and witnessed till now. This bring me back very good memories, when I was hunting all the animals and doing hunting missions, such a calm nature vibe, makes me wish to go live in the forest, far from society and the loud noise. Can't believe this game is from 2018, 4 years ago!

Arthur Morgan is the only protagonist I genuinely care for when playing. Usually in a game I wouldn’t care about eating, sleeping or bathing if neglecting those mechanics doesn’t kill me. But when I noticed dirty Arthur was, I went to go find somewhere I could take a bath. When he looks tired, I let him eat and sleep. I probably wouldn’t prioritize those mechanics in any other game.

I started playing this game a few years ago, on PS4.... Unfortunately, I lost the desire to play it... But a few days ago, I started playing it on my PC and now I play this game when I'm not in the mood to play FFXIV or when I don't really feel like doing what I have to do, and oh god... I think I've fallen in love with RDR2. Maybe not as much as FFXIV, which has meant so much more to me in recent months, but it's almost the same. I love traveling on my horse, listening to the ambient music and hearing the animals and NPCs around, hunting from time to time for the camp, helping NPCs because I try to be a nice guy, paying attention to lots of details and sometimes doing the story for a change when I don't want to chill. There's so much to do in this game, it's an incredible adventure that I've started and I hope this time I won't abandon it. ✨ And now, when I don't play, I'm just here, listening to this video / playlist for RDR2 ambient music to chill ❤

When I hear this all I can see is my Arthur on his Raven Black Shire, Xanthus, cantering through the states and watching the environments slowly change and blend together while in cinematic camera. Occasionally animals would run by or dash across the road as they rode on through their journey to the waypoint set ahead of them halfway across the map, stopping only to replenish cores before getting back in the road. And on certain occasions where no one else was around and you were truly alone you could hear Arthur sing, if for only a few seconds. I loved being able to watch the cinematic journey of my character, enjoying the little things along the way as well as appreciating how much effort was put into such a vast and beautiful world that could take days to cross. I’d give anything to see this game for the first time and experience it all over again.

I get a weird feeling of nostalgia when listening to this. I feel like I’ve truly lost a part of myself as I’ve lost Arthur, then slowly stopped playing rdr2 as I somehow lost interest. When the story ended I had so many mixed feelings, I had loved the game so much I felt empty, and even 2 years after playing the main story, I still feel like I’m missing something. A true masterpiece this game, and I’m so glad I played it. It changed my life.
