Although the animation does not accurately match with the music, but the overall hand movement did a nice job to reflect chord, arppegio, cadenza and single-handed melody. And the hand position basically match with the note. Pretty amazing!

For some reason, as I was halfway learning Maple Leaf Rag on piano, it didn't come to my mind that the song was going to be played in the game. Suddenly, it was first song I heard in that saloon when I just started playing RDR2. What a coincidence! I was super happy and excited that I ran into the saloon so quick and that bar fight mission automatically started! LOL I also hoping that The Entertainer would come up in epilogue when you start playing as John since it was already 1907 and that song came out in 1902.
@FuzzyNinja214 ай бұрын
That would be genius. If you play on PC, you could wait until the epilogue, then mod in The Entertainer along with some of Joplin's other rags.

I've been to a couple dusty watering holes in the middle of the desert that still have their old pianos and poker tables. Only these days the piano is rarely played (I saw one person playing the piano one time in rural Nevada) and the poker tables are just places to sit and drink. One particular saloon even got their water from a well, though the well had been modernized and was operated by a brand new electric pump. They were really proud of that pump too.

Jovanni Laporte I think it adds to the realism. These pianist weren’t playing for Carnegie Hall audiences, they were playing for prostitutes and alcoholics, so they wouldn’t have been the best pianists out there.
@jovannilaporte99834 жыл бұрын
@@AndrewJSacks That's exactly the point. It is also great when you try to talk to them while they are playing, they almost never respond nor noticd you. Even when you try to complement them, they still ignore you. I find this funny as being a musician (who so happens to play this ragtime music) that they would make the pianist act that way because this exactly how I feel towards certain people sometimes. There are days where I just wanna play not dont want to be bugged by bums (like Arthur) who really dont know what they're talking about!
