What I find amazing is how this older RAGE engine works much better with textures than the newer one in RDR2, the textures in this game are much smaller. but appear cleaner and sharper than they do in RDR2, as a mod creator its much easier to achieve what you want in these older RAGE engine builds, I cant wait to fully go through files and recreate some of my mods from RDR2 into RDR1.

This is so well ported by Double eleven, creds to them. I have no monster PC (Ryzen 3700x, Gigabyte RTX 3060) but plays so smooth even without any upscaling. Cheers for making this good, many devs i feel doesnt care about optimizing since theyre like "nah, theres always DLSS/FSR" The last of us was a mess on launch for example

You do have a well above average build, and this game launched on ps3 which is a 2006 console!! And I'm going jack sparrow all the way, there is no way I'm paying for a full game price (70 usd at least here). The ones who should be going to jail are them.
