My headcannon is that Dutch whole heartedly believes all the events in this game transpired and often shares the the story of Shadow Wolf killing Col. Daren to the gang around the campfire. John would doubt all of it just like he did with RDR1 NPC's and be the only one to call it a tall yarn to his face. I love that RDR1 has the same ending as this. An orphaned son avenging his murdered family in a classic gun duel.

So that makes Red Harlow the only surviving protagonist of the Red Dead series. Amazing. EDIT: I don't know why so many people are blowing up a nearly 3 year old comment out of nowhere but I haven't played any Red Dead game since I beat RDR2 back in 2018. All my notifications are "Uncle is Red Harlow" for the past 3 days. Y'all got my attention, so I'm here. All I'm going to say is this, it's just a theory and nothing is confirmed. Even though R* themselves said Revolver is a separate universe from the Redemption series, I can see why so many believe Uncle is Red. But to me personally unless R* said themselves yeah Uncle is Red, this will always remain a theory. Y'all believe whatever y'all want to, I'm just going to stick with the given lore.
