A Tour de Force of so much in the Leica World with such commanding technical knowledge, a refined perspective on the various systems and practical knowledge developed only through extensive experience, this channel now clearly represents a pinnacle in Leica knowledge. All presented in a very easy to understand, common vernacular. I could give several examples throughout but suffice it to say it answers many questions of a deep fundamental nature (the S-system) equally alongside of "minor" technical ones (using A mode in flash because its quicker on the camera). Great job guys!

Hi All, I know the stream is over and was fab. You mentioned the possibility of doing a "flash" youtube. I have been using my Profoto gear ( the Connect, A1 flash, B10 unit as well as the little C1 pluses ( the Nikon versions) seamlessly with my CL. I did not know that Profoto was Leica compatible. Now just need to check my SL-2 for Profoto compatibility.

For the Leica underdogs episode, please talk about the Leica Visoflex system. Especially the long tele lenses. I love wildlife photography, especially birds, and my analog kit is the Leica M3, Visoflex III + the 200mm and 280mm Leica Visoflex lenses (until I find the longer ones). It would be awesome to hear your thoughts on the Visoflex system (analog).

Really appreciate the variety of topics and depth to which you are able to explore them... Thanks.. went to capture one due to alternate camera that had better support in C O. ie. Sony with infrared conversion could go to much lower color temp in C O than in lightroom.. otherwise either is fine.

Lightroom is good for Leica post processing but I moved on because i felt the color accuracy it was producing was subpar. I find Capture One's color accuracy is very close to original at time of shooting. Its interface has improved so much. Their latest version recognizes many Leica Cameras profiles for tethering. Their prostandard features includes SL2, Sl2s, S3 etc. Yes, it would be interesting to see your point view comparing Lightroom and Capture One for Leica images.

I bought the D-Lux 7 last year, my first Leica camera. I hope to take it to Europe next year. I find I take this little camera out more then my D850. I get great images and videos & even shoot in monochrome. Could your talk about this camera features as the manual covers so much. Some folks may need some help setting up the camera . I watch you live . Bring back your wonderful dog again . So gentle & quiet as a Leica.

Another great video guys. My M10-D now doesn’t work with the Geotagging and Visoflex. I had many issues which I think is down to the Leica Photos App (the only way to adjust most of the D’s settings). But it’s not a feature that bothers me.

Make sure you update your Leica FOTOS app regularly. This might be the issue.

As a M6 user and and SL2 user, I’m consdiering the a digital M camera particularly M10, M10-P or, M10-R. I’m kind of hesistant that using a digital M will change the way I use my M6. What are you experiences with this? Am I being too particular thinking about the film M6? Or will the experience be exactly the same, just in a digital sensor. Great talk as always. I posted earlier on on my purchase of the D-Lux 7. I shared images I took coming from my D-Lux & my neighbor was so impressed we drove to the Leica store and she now has a black version of the D-Lux. She loves taking photo's of her new grandchild so easy to used in live view to get great images.

Hey Josh and David, I have a M10 but i did the small upgrade (without the shutter) and i could activate the perspective control by firmware update. sooo it's semi true that the M10 can't be upgraded to perspective control :)

M240, M10 bodies and M lenses-apo 50 and 35 summilux fle Which combination would be better to optimise sensor usage for handheld usage. M240 plus fle or the other way round? Or it wouldn’t really matter? Thanks.

Can you talk about proposer storage for Leica lenses? I know that Ruggard offers a climate controlled unit but if we don’t have that, what and how should we care for our lenses when they are “on the shelf”?

Try an SL1 to see if you like it? You could buy one second hand, then sell it on for no loss of money if you don’t like it or want an upgrade.

Leica rumors says a new visoflex is coming....that’s a nice game changer if it’s 5.7 megapixels. Many people will jump into M system with that in their kit. I always wondered why Leica didn’t recognize the visoflex upgrade was a way forward for M system, maybe they have now...
