You forgot to mention a key aspect of the holographic reticle: fast target acquisition. Not only does the very small center dot make it easy for pixel peaks, but the circle and cross hairs around it help your eyes start putting the reticle where it needs to be, simply place whatever needs to be shot in that circle and adjust from there. If you read into the actual science behind the reticle in real life, it makes a lot more sense.

I agree and disagree. Like Im thrilled that you Like holo like Me but there are some people out There that love the Red dot too and can make some great plays with It. For example my Friend sent me a video showing me why hè likes red dot. My Friend is deaf btw. Hè said that hè was aiming at a door and out of the corner of his red dot hè saw an enemy. Hè flicked and killed that enemy. If he had the holo considering that hè is deaf and that the holo occupies a great portion of your screen hè probably would of died. Case in point no sight is better. But some are more comfortable to use than others. The choice is yours.

I would say it's something like: Holo - guns with lots of recoil and for longer range engagements if acog not available Reflex - mid/short range engagements, aggressive players Red dot - holding angles. Emmett Kahnert maybe they were factors... but he straight up didn’t see the guy because of the holo sight. If he had been able to see the guy he would have had a better chance of winning than not seeing him at all.

Henry W I agree to an extent but if you’ve seen the clip (only one I know of is on Bank) the guy was last alive, very slow to the obj in the sense there was next to no time left, all cameras/drones out and the enemy was crouch walking just perfectly in line with the casing as the guy came down the stairs ADS. There were plenty of problems with the clip and the context and a lot had to come together for that to occur but I’d rather just eliminate that and choose a different sight. I get why people like the reticle of the Holo and I like similar reticles to it in other games but just not for Siege any more.

I’ve always wanted a next attacking operator having the ability of simply a hybrid similar to glaz. Being able to go from acog (distance) to red dot (CQ) I think would be a an ability in itself. Simple, but deadly

i only started r6 about 2 months ago and i prefer reflex but everyone on social media in general is loving the acog and going crazy over it. i don’t really like it that much cuz it’s huge and you can’t see much other than the spot you’re pointing at. but idk maybe i’m wrong. 🤷‍♀️🤔

That’s my order 1.holo 2.ref 3.redot But it depends on the gun, character, map, game mode and the day I’m having. So like jager shotgun I run redot in CQC maps with a lot of corners and mainly close range like the plane Guns with a lot of kick/fire rate,maps with close to med and kinda open I use ref since it have better visual when firing IMO. with sub guns at close-med I use redot Definitely on maps like the house maps,cabin map and the ship map. But with ARs I use holo for a more med-long range fight with burst fire also depends if the map is more open with long hallways and etc. But acog I cannot do it, I’m so inconsistent when using it I tried practicing by using it on my favorite gun and character still fail. Even on my good try hard days when I’m going 8+-0 if I use it next game I’m going 2-7+.

I personally feel as though the red-dot is now a way better choice than it used to be due to all the recent buffs it’s had. I use all a lot but I can confidently say that the red dot is currently my favourite.

I just like reflex because it doesn't cover up my screen and it's reticle doesn't distract me like a holographic, the outer part of the reticle distracts me and makes it harder for me to see an enemy.

I'm a reflex guy. Never had problems using the tip of the triangle, and as you say you can actually argue it's an advantage due only the tip needing to be on the enemy; makes holding tight angles more clear. Also love the vision you have with it. Feel so flexible and free compared to the other sites. A lot of people don't use it. I think they should try it especially on mobile classes.

My favorite is reflex because for low resolutions it has the biggest sight without a messy blend of indecipherable pixels in the middle like holo. The best part about it is the color because the red on the other sights is really easy to lose in a lot of the areas of a lot of the maps but the green of the reflex is a color you don’t really see anywhere so it’s really hard to lose.

Out of all the sights ive never liked the holo. However i started using the holo about 2 months ago and have increased my accuracy and k/d by a large margin. I find it easier to lock on to headshots with it. All you have to do is get the enemies head in the big circle of the sight and you are golden!!

I have the reflex on EVERY weapon that allows it. Attack or Defend. I’ve died to enemies hidden behind my scope too many times. I like to see as much as possible. My eyesight is 20/12 so seeing enemies/movement isn’t an issue for me. Now....if I could just control recoil & aim, I might not suck so hard.

Reflex = Skilled players Acog and Holographic = Great but depends on operator Red dot and *most* iron sights = shite Special Mention = Bandit's Iron Sights :D This is my opinion. I play ranked but I'm only Silver One at the moment.
