I had to comment on the High Wire performance, it rocks hard, Darren brings it and Jake plays this better than even the Badlands days. The rhythm section plays mean and dirty like my classic favorite bands. I think this is the future I want to see rock go in. Thanks Jake and the Red Dragon guys. We needed this back.

the singer is a lot better than he was at whiskey… I don't understand why so many people are hating on him….ive seen lots of big bands live and most of the front men can't come near to how they sound in the studio…. this guy is good.. at least you can hear him…Jake is so under rated he's a AWESOME GUITARIST!!! he is one of the few that can sherd while still showing rhythm and style… i can remember all of jakes solos they stay in your head… he is one of the very few that has that gift… I hope this band stays together ..rock on…. This singer has the unenviable job of people expecting him to sound like 2 hard-rock vocal icons. Ozzy & Ray. On top of that, he has to have his own style on par with those 2. That's a lot of pressure. Add to that playing with a bona fide guitar-hero, on a nightly basis. Not to mention knowing that everyone is taking video of you & posting it online, immediately, if not sooner. No-one is using anything other than sub-par cell-phone technology to record & post with. I think these guys are like a jewel in the rough. They will get better on the road. I enjoyed it.

The band is just amazing. I saw them last friday and it was perfect. The singer is not good, he is very very good. I can´t understand why some people is saying bad things about his performance, may be some of them prefer a clon of ozzy with jake or may be some just listened these movile phone recorded concerts with it´s caracteristic "great sound"... i hope this proyect go ahead and we have more music from them.

I cant believe people have such negative opinions about this when if you turn on the radio you will everything on there just about suck....this is much better than all that corporate garbage that is way too commercial so much so that it sounds like a damn commercial. have we gotten to the point where every song on the radio has to be so cheesy and catchy that it just sucks to high heaven so people short on intelligence and attention span will actually listen to it. im very upset about the mental state of the majority of people and the musical taste of these people that listen to the radio is just aweful. if we reject that garbage on the radio maybe it will stop!

This is about foreseeing the potential of a band that's only playing their 2nd gig to see how they can congeal and get tighter musically.There are many factors that determine how successful a band is going to work.With harmonies and choreographies added and a little more stage room And some back-up female singers could help this band improve.Then comes determining their tour itinerary and who they make miles with.I see potential for this band to improve.I wonder who manages them?With a new double bass drum set and some new equipment THEY WILL ROCK!!!

Jake may be sick of playing Bark at the Moon after all these years but, all of his fans kinda expect to hear it. He has a library of killer riff's and plenty of other songs but, this is his signature song. I appreciate his Badlands songs too but, his best songs written while with Ozzy are his biggest commercial success. I so appreciate all of his guitar work, his riff's and phrasing are unlike anyone since before or after him and I hope he goes out on tour soon. I heard he had carpel tunnel surgery and hopefully he's recovered from that.

TBH...despite people dumping on Darren for coming to Jake as a "bar band drummer" I can hear in his voice and phrasing that he's a classic rock genre singer...not '80's Ozzy. I think he actually does ok on Decieved IMHO. I've been singing classic rock/metal and blues for over 40 years and I know what I like. Yes Darren screwed the pooch for the first gig and nerves will do that shit to you but for a second gig this one isn't woeful by any stretch.

and at 10:36 he cranks the E string up since he had it dropped. 16:52 he dropped the Estring at the end of the song and dropped all the others after in the break. A lot of other guitarists just change out to a different guitar all together in that major of a tuning change.

So glad Jake's doing this! He was away too long. Just my 2 bob's worth about some comments below - yes the guitar is slightly out of tune right from the start ... very surprising! He tunes up for the first time at 16:52, you can hear how out it was. But by the time he starts Rock n Roll Rebel at 30:10 it's atrociously out again! And, the singer is fine in my opinion - good, strong rock voice.

Anyway by looking at the video more closely, my theory of what's going on with the tuning is he probably is playing a signature model he got off the manufacturer, and left the treasured guitars at home. Now the new instrument's experiencing regular break in and would need its intonation set up, making tuning horrible. But I don't think Jake is traveling with a guitar tech.
