Tom, I'm terribly sorry to have to inform Lance, but he's got the knack for vlogging and will indeed have to take over your channel more often! To speak of the red Sharpie... chlorine is a solvent chemical and will break apart the components of Sharpie ink, but I see you've learned that lesson 😂. Everything about this competition was phenomenal. You and Dan were stellar and really fought for your GOLD medal. To work hard and smart with your injuries and firing up your innate competitive spirit definitely paid off. I'm so pleased for you. Your family is so lovely and it's wonderful they come all the way to the other side of the world to cheer you on. That husband of yours is something special - the love, support, and even being the specific nuissance your Grandmum's deemed him, is awesome. You're so lucky to have each other and your son is lucky to have you both for his parents. Your continued vigilance and voice to shine a light on inequality, particularly in the Commonwealth, was met with many naysayers, but there is no doubt it raised the issue where it otherwise wouldn't have been, and I have no doubt that a closeted LGBTQIA+2 athlete heard you and was grateful!

first of all, belated CONGRATULATIONS to you and Dan ! secondly, i absolutely love your Mom ! she's great and from the parts of the vlog that Lance did you can see that they all get on really well together ! just as families of spouses/boyfriends/girlfriends etc should do but unfortunately, as is the case with mine and my fiance's families, not all do and some create so much stress and conflict within the family that it becomes almost impossible to stay together, i am so glad that your family and Lance get on so well and obviously adore each other ! thirdly, yes i think it would be great if Lance took over your vlog occasionally ! he is obviously great in front of and behind the camera and it is great to get to see his sense of fun, humour and flirty nature more often. congratulations again Tom & Dan !

From a person with 10 years experience as a nanny and had to get permanent marker off of every surface known to man - Acetone will remove permanent marker from the skin, walls, fabric, etc. Look for it at a hardware store or find someone who paints their nails and see if they have nail polish with acetone in it. Soak a cotton pad or some cotton gauze with it and start swiping. You can use it on your face but be VERY CAREFUL around the eyes and wash immediately with a good cleanser. It's a heck of a lot faster than "make-up remover" wipes.
