Red Flag? Gypsy Rose Blanchard tells hubby to shut up

I don't want to over analyze one small clip of an interview, but this one did get me thinking.

Yes, she did get her GED in prison. I believe he is referring to her not knowing her real age because she stopped going to physical school in 2nd grade and that’s another way her mother was able to hide her age from her. However, I think it’s something that he knows she may be insecure about and for him to bring it up definitely seems like a little jab. I get the impression that He is the type who is so insecure with himself he needs to bring her down to his level so any chance he gets he will throw little insults at her passive aggressively. That way if shit goes down he will still be able to play victim. You’re right, we all do know a guy like this. 💯

The fact that you’re calling him insecure for bring it up whenever he listened to her saying “shut up” and then let the conversation change tells me that you don’t understand men. He wasn’t trying to embarrass her. He (like most of us) is just socially inept. We’re not graceful creatures and we say the wrong things often.

Also, I thought socially inept was being socially awkward and having a fear of socializing and engaging in conversations with new people etc; which would be the exact opposite of what Ryan is. In my humble opinion, He has little issue doing interviews, or meeting new people. In fact, from observing I’d say socializing is one of his favorite hobbies. So tell me man whisperer, how do I not understand?

I think he enjoys the attention of being her protector in a way, so if he keeps everyone, thinking that she’s small, and naïve so he looks like a great guy. basically he’s just using her like her mom did

They just may be toxic period. U would think he was the bad guy, it was a tacky and seemingly cruel thing to say. Or was it a bumbling fool that runs his mouth without thinking. It is how he reacted to her after she said shut up and squeezed his arm that was the most revealing. He was very sad, looked down and kept silent like a puppy being scolded. He may of opened his big mouth thinking he was funny or smart, but it was Gypsy who took complete control in the end 😒

I wonder what she will do to Ryan when she gets fed up with him and wants a divorce and he demands half of everything. I am sure she learned a few things after she murdered her mom and got caught. She set Nick up and thought Nick would get all the blame and she never expected Nick to tell the truth to the police. Will she make it look like an accident this time or will Ryan be the one to off her first?

I've wondered this too,I completely believe she'll reoffend.Shes a very calculated manipulative individual and I see right thru her.I personally don't like her at all and feel extremely sorry for Nick receiving life when she set him up to do her dirty work.

Her mother was a POS abuser. Gypsy did what she thought she had to do to get out of that awful situation. She deserves her freedom

I definitely think she is damaged from what she went through. I don't think she should be in prison for life, but I do think that she needs more help than she's received. @@Kasey_Taylor
