💯 % ! I love how you can hear how flea and chad are excited to be playing with John again. If this album came out in ‘99 instead of Californication it would be blowing up … this new musical landscape has no ground zero.. everyone sources music from various streaming platforms yet vinyl sales have never been stronger. Weird how a generation of Napster rippers and single of the week music fans lack the patience and ability to comprehend a full album. This is a chapter in RHCP’s lives and I have a strong (hopefully) belief it’ll be the album of the summer !
