Def his best drumming album... coming from someone who plays drums and studied jazz improv/music theory in college. I'm blown away by his playing, especially in this album. Without a doubt, one of the all-time great rock drummers.

He's the only member of the band who truly seems to appreciate the amazing opportunities he's had in life. The other guys keep jerking around, quitting to do heroin and make boring solo albums, etc. Chad is always solid - shows up on time for rehearsal and recording too!

6 years of sobriety tomorrow. My life wouldn’t be the same without this band. Frusciante being back warms my souls and I can’t wait to hear this album and to play it over and over. I need his harmonies and the fender crying over Anthony’s Melodie’s with fleas bass bouncing to a nice chad pocket that allows the band to be themselves. Stadium arcadium was a masterpiece in my eyes but all the albums they have made are amazing. Seeing Josh in the video warmed my heart! And in such a position, too! Have been counting down the days for the album to drop, and its finally here. Have been on the chili train for over 30 years. I love all there music. I’m 16 years old and I’ve been listening to the Red Hot Chili Peppers since I was not even a year old. My dad played them everywhere so I sort of grew up with them. I know every lyric to just about every song and I’ve seen them once in La when I was only 6 years old. To this day they are still my favorite band and I could listen to them forever. This new album has truly hit home for me and it makes me so happy to see the original four back together. Keep on rocking guys! 🌶🤘🏻
