Awesome vid, one of best that ive seen...less bullshit, more fishing! Awesome bream in there! Gotta laugh at all the noobs wanting the exact location...go and look for yourself, pretty easy to find shallow reef in PPB where bream might hang out!

Hey nomads What side of the bay you guys on? Roughly where is that spot? Thanks guys
@AVportau2 жыл бұрын
good vid. i snorkeled that bay for years as a ittle kid right up into my 20's. some parts are as interesting as tropical reefs.... highlight was seeing a leafy seadragon when i was a little kid. it was low tide and i could float in 2ft of water and watch it.... fave spots: reefs along beaches at Indented Head (stay away from the storm water drain outlets. abalone from there can make you sick) and outside the rip east of Cheviot Beach (not for beginners. where PM Harold Holt went missing). check out some of those reef/rock inlets on Google Earth. it's between Portsea Surf Beach and Point Nepean. if you flick through the years you can get some really still and clear shots where you can see right into the water. 4/2019 is clear. that place was "alive". shuck a few abs underwater and it's like an aquarium of everything.. can get a little sharky so stay next to the rock walls and always have a spear even if only ab diving... but if there's a dirty big stingray hanging around then there's no sharks. if the stingray goes missing then watch out. best dive/snorkel spot for miles but dangerous. if you get a good still day you can sit in 0-1ft of water on the rock shelves then slide of to a 12-20ft drop to sand.

iv never spearfished should i buy a wetsuit or find out if i can do it first? whats happens if you shoot an undersize fish not on purpose will fisherys fine me?
@nomadsjournal76334 жыл бұрын
Depends on the weather how thick you wnat your wetsuit, we wear a 5mm wetsuit which is awesome during colder months but when it’s hot we just wear the top half! And only shoot what you know is size YOU will get fined ahaah
