Lobo is basically a slapstick cartoon character, like many of DC's most powerful characters they keep piling on power rather than making compelling characters. DC's strongest characters are made to be over the top ridiculous and aren't really comparable to a more grounded universe. It's comics, sure. But I stopped caring about these comparisons when they involve characters that have been written to be so absurdly powerful that there's practically no point in putting them in a matchup against anyone not from the same universe. What's the point if there is no real competition on any particular point of comparison? If Lobo is "unkillable" wouldn't it be a better fight to put him up against someone that is similarly unkillable or at least cannot be permanently defeated such as Doomsday? Red Hulk's biggest advantage is radiation absorbtion and it goes completely unmentioned as it's just assumed that it's a non-factor in this fight I guess.

Sad thing is Marvel has started following suit. I never cared a lot for DC because there heroes seem to just overpower their opponents and the only drama is who other than the hero is going to be harmed. Of all DC’s characters I love the lore and atmosphere but EVERY TIME I give in and pick up a story the same thing happens and I remember why I can’t read DC. For instance I just was reading a story about The Designer and right out of the gate Batman takes down 5 name brand hired assassins at once, one being DEATHSTROKE ( which in my opinion should never lose a fight to Bruce without prep). The last time in new 52 when Batman and Robin( dressed as Joker) took down Batman’s whole damn rogue gallery at once. Before that Court of Owls when after being kept awake for days and weakened he still overpowered the undead enhanced super assassin. No Threat = No Drama. It’s bad enough with Superman. Marvel is going the same way though. In the 80’s Wolverine was tough as nails but still could be killed, today they had to take it to another level making him like Deadpool virtually immortal. Same with Hulk.

I'd disagree that speed is not a factor. When Lobo first fought Superman, he was so fast that Superman could not react to his attacks and got absolutely humiliated. Yes, this was an early post-Crisis Superman who was weaker than he would eventually become, but still a Superman with super-speed. If Lobo wants to win and uses his speed, it's hard to imagine how any Hulk can even lay a hand on him when Superman couldnt.

Kudos to you for a great job with this video. Once again, DC wins by another mixed match fight. Saw that coming a mile away. I mean, if the Incredible Hulk is outmatched by Superman, and Lobo CAN beat Superman, then there was no way Red Hulk can beat Lobo. They created Lobo to be the DCU's version of Wolverine. Shoot, he's stronger than Superman and has the combined healing factor of Wolverine AND Deadpool. No one seems to know how to slay Lobo... permanently. But here's one possible solution: go to an alternate universe (they due exist in the DCU), bring back one of Lobo's species (he couldn't have destroyed them ALL in these AU) so they could battle each other to see who wins. Simple. Is someone at DC ever going to create such a plot...when pigs could fly (and, no, Spider-Ham does not fly... he web-slings). Anyway, keep up the great work you do for viewers/subscribers like me on KZbin!!!

This is a tough call because red hulk is a hulk their strength is similar but I think red hulk could do more damage than superman to Lobo because he puts more power and density in one hit to a number of superman's many fast hits. Plus he has the rage of the hulk but with a military trained tactical mind . So he may not be able to kill lobo hot seriously damage him.
